Hair Worries

Updated on February 17, 2011

Hair Worries

There are more serious problems

I'm sure, out there

Than having all sorts of worries

About your hair.

It may seem self centred

To worry about your tresses

But in this modern world

This can bring on many stresses.

It's not just the hair on your head

That brings problems, i suppose

There's also the embarrassment

Of the hairs in your nose.

You can't help but look

When you're standing very near

Someone who has lots of hairs

Sprouting out his ear.

You are relaxing on the beach

But you feel you are under attack

Because when you took your shirt off

Everyone can see your hairy back.

At least on days like this

When it starts getting a little colder

You'll be nice and warm

Because of your hairy shoulder.

With problems things like this

We can still save the day

By getting it all waxed

Or even shaved away.

But there's still your head

You may be thinning or completely bald

Or follicly challenged

That's what it now has to be called.

Hi Laurie, Thanks a lot for your comments on this.I could probably have used some of your examples. They would have fit in well! Michael.

I am not sure I could have "waxed" so poetic, and gotten to the "bare" truth of this hairy situation. Well done my friend.

You gave me my giggle to start the day Michael. Thank you!
