Shaving Safely

Updated on February 2, 2011

This is a little nonsense poem about the perils of shaving and dangers you may face.

SHAVING SAFELY

I try and shave most of the time

Because if i don't i look like a slob

But what most people don't realise

Is that it can be a dangerous job.

It might take about ten minutes

Maybe about quarter of an hour

And a lot of times i will shave

When i'm having a shower.

The one thing i have to watch

When i have the razor in my grip

Is that my hands are not to soapy

Then it could go and slip

I think you get the picture

Without me describing any more

If this was to happen

I could be feeling very sore.

Luckily nothing bad has happened

It usually goes without a hitch

So thankfully my voice

Hasn't changed to a very high pitch.

So i'll still do this dangerous work

yes i'll try and be brave

because when i pick up my razor

It could be a close shave.

      Fab :)

You know, if you're worried, you could just use an electric shaver? There are some really good ones on the market ;)

      Linda.

Hi Linda, Thanks a lot for the comment. It's much appreciated. I know, thinking about it i could use an electric shaver, or better still just stop my imagination going over the top! Cheers. Michael.

This was super adorable probably not the perfect choice of word for your poem but I thought so!
