   Why there is not takers for good poems in hubpages?
   
   Is it mainly because it does not attract too many impressions and clicks??

   not sure i understand the question. Takers as in people looking to write them or people looking to read them or good poems at all? I think there are quite a few great poems on here. Mine I don't think could be considered great, but others are amazing.

   I agree with DSettler... I'm not sure I understand the question. But an answer that can answer all the possibilities collectively is the fact that poetry is an extremely underrated art form. People in general see poetry as low-class when it comes to writing, most do not consider it enjoyable to read. They compare it to fictional novels and the like, and believe that it holds no comparison. It's sad that such a mindset has been taken towards such a beautiful art. I personally got my start writing poetry and song lyrics. For me there is an innate perfection to a short collection of specifically chosen words. My hats of to poets everywhere, we created the concept of creative writing!

   There are quite a few talented poets here. I have read some beautiful poetry by 2uesday, epigramman, Nellieanna - just to name a few. I have a few poems you are welcome to read, as well. Thanks for asking the question! (Will suggest more when I think of them)

   I agree, this is a very ambiguous question with many possible answers. However, I feel that as a new poet, and perhaps due to studying poetry at present. It is clear that there are many forms of poetry, all of which are interpreted in more than one way. No one person will interpret each poem, and/or song lyrics, the same way you do because we are all individuals. Please anyone feel free to read my poetry and leave any comments. As I have said I am a new poet so have little to post at the moment.

   There are wonderful poets, rhyming poets here, lyrical rhyming and non-rhyming poets, Blaise 25, Astra Nomik, Epigramman, blondpoet, kimberlyslyrics, take your pick. And all of them are successful. Blaise 25 just published a volume of poetry in Lulu.com. So poetry can be successful...
   
   All these poets are highly rated on Hubs. Cheers.

   As a reader of hubs i find myself stopping quite often on poems, a quick read, with a wide range of emotions and subjects ...As a writer I was surprised at the success of the few poems that i have posted.
   there is room here for all kinds of writing, it is the neverending wonder of hubpages

      I can craft a poem within 15 minutes...
      I was therefore surprised as you were at the immediate success in the form of followers a few poems helped me acquire instead of the tough slog of spending an hour over a how-to that doesn't seem as effective
