Is making money important to you on hubpages?
is money the main reason you come on here or are there other reasons?
I like that there is the potential to make money with enough hubs, however I rather like being able to write about subjects that I enjoy and have some knowledge of. I will admit that not having been on hub pages for very long I am not making much money yet!
My main aim for coming onto hubpages is to try and improve my writing skills and to get feedback to my hubs. In the 4 months since joining hubpages I haven't really made much (only a few cents) as I still have so much to learn about backlinking and SEO. I would love to generate a small income from my hubs in the future, but I realise that it does take time, so I will continue to publish hubs and be patient.
If it was i would go crazy , i can tell you that. I would lie if i told you that it isnt a factor but not the most important factor for sure.
I think the gut a great system and structure here at hubpages and its very good when it comes to common interests that people might have or even i might go as far as to say that it is pretty good for socialising with people , most of which are pretty nice . in my experience at least.
Like the others, it would be nice to earn some income from writing on Hub Pages, but I do it because I like writing and sharing and exchanging information with others.
I also consider it as preparation for publishing a book in the future.
Let me also say, it is a place that is rich in learning and knowledge. There is so much that I have learnt here...about everything, but most of all about writing online and knowing the tools and language of the worldwide web.
This place is an educational institution.
I admit the potential for earning money was a draw however I have come to enjoy the writing aspect of HubPages. Didn't know I enjoyed to write that much and am now contemplating starting a book. So yes it is important but is not the reason I have stayed considering I have earned very little in the last 5 weeks.
No, making money is not the first reason of mine connecting in hub pages. It helps me to improve my writing skill. I collect information for my hub, it helps me to increase my general knowledge.
Money is not my Master. Sure, it would be nice to make money on any writing project, but I love to write. I love HubPages and the instant response you can get or being able to leave an encouraging note to other writers. I didn't find that with my former writing website.
When you are doing anything you love, things seem to fall in place. And I'm not putting emphasis on making money.
at this point in my life only an enormous amount of money would make any real changes in my life.
my enjoyment with hubpages is being able to write about anything and to have people comment on what i've written.
To be realistic making money is part of it, because at the first instance i don't really know that hubpages is more than just writing for publication and earn money, after my 4 months on hubpages i got to realized that, is an Educational Institution, that have being improving my reading culture, writing skill, and enabling me to acquire knowledge from other publishers.
My God bless the initiator of this social network.
Although I'd love to be making tons of money doing what I love, HubPages is much more about me doing what I love to do and sharing it with the community. Though, really, I'm not going to turn down a bit cash for doing that, I far more enjoy receiving the feedback and support (as well as dishing it) from this community.
I prefer the writing aspect which is why I've stuck at it with not much results on the money front right now. But of course I'd enjoy to make some money with it, however it is not that important to me.
Is making money important to me on Hubpages? You betcha! I am thrilled to be making money writing, since three years ago, I didn't even know what a blog was. Seriously! Then I stumbled upon Hubpages, and last month I reached payout earnings threshold on both Adsense and HP Ad Program. $170 does not make me rich, but the fact that I made this money from writing here on Hubpages is mind boggling to me. The few cents I make everyday is so thrilling for me.. it's like a game for me everyday I log on Hubpages and check my earnings. So exciting! Is money the main reason I come on here? It used to be, but now I love Hubpages and its community and proud to be part of it.

If making money wasn't an option on HubPages, would you still write for this site...No matter if you make pennies a day or dollars. This question isn't about how much money a hubber makes. I'm just curious how many hubbers would still hub if they weren't earning money for the pub or to get some...

I'll only mention this once but I need one volunteer Hubber willing to set up a fresh HubPages account and to learn SEO, to build hubs following all the SEO tricks which I'll show you, essentially someone who is completely new to HubPages and whom wants to learn to build money making hubs with...

I have just started, so I dont expect it in the near future, but how many hubs, or how many months before you start making money? How much traffic is considered to be good traffic? Right now I am getting about an average of 75 hits per day on 4 hubs. Is that good? What...

I have noticed a great deal of effort put into finding the specific keywords to write hubs about, and pushing them into Google, among other places, to drive traffic to your hubs, and thence get ad views and clicks, etc. Do any of you who read this forum write for the sheer love of writing,...

I made two hubs and both were rejected -I can understand that. What I do want to know is if the site can make money for me, and if so, how can I do it?

I'm new to HubPages, so give me a break if this is a terrible question. I nearly have 40 followers, and I have posted 15 hubs in 5-6 weeks. When do you start making the big bucks?
