    Hello John!
I liked all your four poems. You have composed excellent poems, related to beach sand, and desert sand. I liked the desert poem, ‘Shifting sand’ very much.
Good to mention the sand art, through your well crafted poem. I always admire the sand artists.
Beautiful quotes and pictures to compliment your creativity.
    Thank you for sharing.

      John
I'm happy to hear these word prompts help inspire you.

Your muse was on quite a roll this week with these ones.  They are all terrific!!

In your poem, "Shifting Sand" you tell us quite a vivid story of a man who is left alone walking through the desert &
      eventually it claims his life.

"Why God Created Beaches" shows us how we often enjoy the sand, as it poses the question why did God create beaches.

I'd like to think it was for a playground for his people...but maybe it was to hold the land together so we wouldn't fall into the ocean.

      Great pics with this one.

"Sand Sculptures" shows us how the tide comes in and washes those magnificent sandcastles away.

We must enjoy the artists creations before it's too late.

It amazes me how sandcastles are so beautiful and delicate.
They spend so much time creating these masterpieces and then they dissapear like gifts to the sea.

"Slow Down the Sands of Time" is a cute poem showing how we all want to slow time down, to no avail.
But if we find a way to stop it, you want us to let you know.

This one reminded me of the Ponce De Leon's fountain of youth located in Florida.
They actually sell these miniature jugs of water that is supposed to bring back our youth.

I'd never heard that song before...sand & water.  I liked it.

Great writing, pics, video & quotes.
I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

Brenda, it seems my muse is overactive this week..barely letting me sleep smile I do prefer when she is productive to not though.
Ponce De Leon’s fountain of youth sounds interesting.
Perhaps you should write a poem about it.
Thank you for reading and analysing as always. Oh and glad you enjoyed the Sand and Water song too.

      John,
When I visited Ponce Del Leon's fountain of youth, I was probably younger than 6 yrs old.

But the sign on the freeway is still there today, so it still exists.
