Check out part 2 of Gianella’s hospital experience. Once again a very interesting read.

Thank you Gianella, for sharing your hospital experience.
I don’t think, I have read anything like this, with regard to their hospital stay. People usually don’t like visiting hospitals, or getting admitted there. This is definitely a positive approach towards life, in rather worrisome times.
I enjoyed reading about experiences. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you John for posting this in the forum.

    Oh Gianella...
You sound like the perfect Patient.

You point out all those good things like not having to wash the dishes.

Being catered to while in bed.

I've never cared much for hospital food, but you paint a whole new picture.

And looking out the window sounds nice, but I think it would make me want to be outside.

I'm glad you have such a positive outlook.   You can teach us all a thing or two.

    Great write.

Thank you Brenda! Glad I made you smile and have a new picture of what a hospital experience is like. I already prep my mind before entering the hospital that I'd enjoy everything no matter what happens and so I did. There were certainly ups and downs but the happy moments remains. It was a great one. One I'd treasure so long as I live.

God Bless you Brenda. I hope and pray God keep you safe in the Ice Storm.

    Sending love and warm hugs.

    Regards.

That's what I noticed too Chitrangada. People usually have a bad image on going to the hospitals. That's what the rest seems like. They got stressed out due to the problems they acquired upon admission. They also hated being admitted as they are not getting the assistance they needed. Their food, they prefer preparing their own meals but what they crave is already bad for them. I guess with my perspective and outlook in life, I was the only patient that enjoyed a hospital stay. I made my own experience unique and new to others. Giving the illusion that sometimes staying at a hospital isn't that bad at some point. It's better than running away from home, booking a hotel, it's rather expensive.

Thank you Chitrangada and Brenda again for your feedback! Also thank you John for sharing this one.

There might be part 3 of this one, another encounters with patients.

    But, I'm not sure yet.

    Stay tuned.

    Blessings to all of you.

You sound like the ideal patient Gianella.  You made the most of being hospitalized in every way possible.  Thanks John for sharing her positive way of looking at her hospital experience.

Thank you Peggy! That was really my intention. To make the most out of it in  every way possible. I knew it was gonna be my home for a couple of days, just didn't expect it would take weeks. I had to let myself feel at home and settle down. That way I could make myself comfortable, happy, and just living the life with a positive outlook. Sunsets and sunrise are one of those I always look forward too each day as they give me hope. Sunrise marks the start of the day and Sunset tells me it has been a day. Sometimes I was able to see a moon. It feels good. I was once an astray child prior being admitted. After being discharged, God completely changed me and bring me back to my old self as to how he has made me. Right back on track, a child with goals and dreams. One that smiles and make others happy. To be an inspiration for others.

Blessings to you Peggy. Warm hugs.
