Hello Gianella!
Excellent response to the word prompt, with many takeaways. I found your poems to be inspiring and motivating.
There is always a sense of curiosity and excitement attached with the ‘firsts.’
Thank you for sharing this wonderful response.
Thank you Brenda for sharing this in the forum.
Gianella
In your poem, "
Some Firsts Maybe Arent That Scary At All you tell us how doing something for the first time doesn't have to always be scary.
I love this part:
Be different.
Because, it's your life.
Make the best out of your firsts.
No matter how crazy and hilarious it can get.
If we don't succeed, keep trying.
There are unexpected moments that occur.
Don't worry, enjoy each moment & learn from each experience.
This piece gives us alot of good messages.
In your poem, "Just Like Every Firsts" you compare how much love is like all of our first times.
I love this part:
Just like Love,
you just have to hold on tight;
and Enjoy the ride.
It's so true. We must hold on as we go through life facing each hurdle of our first moments.
We should stop and think before we say things in anger...but it doesn't always work that way.
I love both pieces. They certainly give us great examples.
I'll post a link in the word prompt article.
Thank you for sharing Brenda! Glad to know you loved both pieces. I've got more firsts to try and celebrate next month as it will be my birth month Hopefully I'd be able to do some of those with grace. Stay well and safe.
I ike what you wrote in your interesting poem about firsts, Gianella. It is okay to be different, and firsts don't have to be scary. I enjoyed reading your poem Gianellla. You certainly met Brenda's challenge.
Thanks for posting Gianellla's poem Brenda.
I enjoyed reading both your poems, Gianella. Some firsts may not be scary when we are excited and look forward to the event. Like climbing a mountain, or kayaking for the first time. The sense of adventure far exceeds the fear A very good response to Brenda's word prompt.
Thank you Pamela for taking your time to read and comment on my response to prompts! Glad you enjoyed my response to this prompt stay safe always!
Thank you Vidya! I'm glad my message for the response got thru. I always love adventures and write about them. I hope you get exciting firsts in the future as well. Stay blessed and well
"When you have succeeded, tell them it was your first!" Suddenly, I feel like finding some firsts to try, even now. So many ideas come through these lines. Good work! I like the poem. Thanks to Gianella and Brenda.
Good work on this poetry, Gianella. You really thought deeply about what it is to try things for the first time and you covered it all. We do need to take some risks and achieve more “firsts.” A lot of us have a bucket list of things we’d like to do, well we need to start ticking them off.
These lines made me laugh:
“ Spread love and happiness.
Make people laugh and fart.”
Thank-you for sharing, Brenda.
Good work with this word prompt, Gianella. I enjoyed reading your beautiful hub.
"Be different.
Because it's your life.
Make the best out of your firsts.
No matter how crazy and hilarious it can get."
This reminded me of my first visit to the dentist. Lol! Maybe I'll have to write it up as a response. So here's a hug to say thank you.
Thank you, Bredz, for sharing Gianella's work.
Take care and stay safe.
Many Blessings and Love to both of you.
