Hi John,
Your short story is so astounding full of mysteries and puzzles. I wait in anticipation of the story in continuation. Thank you for giving us so much entertainment in this lovely afternoon. I appreciate it so much!
Hello Rosina. I am happy that you enjoyed this story and the mystery presented. I hope the second part can also hold your interest. Your comment is much appreciated.
The story is filled with suspnce!! I am eagerly waiting for what's going happen!!
Wonderful John. The suspense is nail-biting.Is Michael getting dragged into a fraudulent scam, or is there something else related to Michael's past?Interesting John
Thanks, Rosina, for sharing.
I enjoyed the suspense in your story, John, and am looking forward to the next part. I liked how Michael's first thought with his money was to buy a wheelchair for his wife and take her out for a dinner.. It shows his love and care for his wife. But who knows what will happen next? I didn't want to stop reading it at this point... it was very very intriguing.
By the way, nice profile pic. My friend looks super cool.
Thanks, Rosina, for sharing John's excellent story.
Sending bundles of blessings
Hey Misbah. I like to think that Michael is a nice guy who has just found himself in a difficult situation that is none of his own doing. But, who knows what will be revealed in the rest of the story. Sorry to end it prematurely, but I am glad it made you want to find out what is to come.
Thank you for the kind words about my new profile pic. Blessings back.
I hope you will write the rest of the story, John. I sure want to know what they are paying Michael to do. I did like the way he seems to love his wife, and he seems like a good man, but what is next?
Hi Pamela. Yes, Michael seems like an innocent victim of some scam or not-so-innocent plan. I will certainly post more soon.
John, you are such a tease! Do you have a plan for where this is headed, or are you making this up as you go along LOL?
Linda, you seem to know me too well. In fact I just started writing in response to the prompt without a whole story line mapped out. I haven’t written the ending yet, and it’s going to be a surprise for even me. I have a few scenarios buzzing around in my head…just have to settle on one.
Awe John....
You got me again.
Just as I'm intently waiting to see what's in the video...you leave me stranded.
Great write. Definitely suspenseful and it seems so real.
Just like something that could happen to anyone.
Can't wait to read more.
This is certainly an intriguing story! Michael seems so nice, and his desire to help his wife is lovely. In real life, sometimes bad things happen to good people, though. I’m looking forward to the next instalment of John’s story very much.
Hello John!
Just like others, I have enjoyed reading your story, inspired by a prompt! You have created enough curiosity to read it further, when you write the next part!
Thank you for sharing and thanks to Rosina too!
Gyanendra, I am glad your found this suspenseful and are looking forward to the next chapter.
Yes indeed. Since the first of August , I've been going through unexpeted events around me. Will I be able able to convert them into short story? I have this question banging in head. Thank you.

I've been going back and forth, up and down, and sideways trying to get a short, short story that I wrote the way I want it. I went to critiquecircle (which I highly reccommend for it's excellent set up), but now I have 7 critiques discussing various aspects of my story. That led me to...
