Thank you, Ravi. I haven’d decided 100% where the story is going yet..weighing up a couple of options like you queried. I am glad you are finding it suspenseful.

I enjoyed the suspense in your story, John, and am looking forward to the next part. I liked how Michael's first thought with his money was to buy a wheelchair for his wife and take her out for a dinner.. It shows his love and care for his wife. But who knows what will happen next? I didn't want to stop reading it at this point... it was very very intriguing.

By the way, nice profile pic. My friend looks super cool. cool smile

Thanks, Rosina, for sharing John's excellent story.

    Sending bundles of blessings

Hey Misbah. I like to think that Michael is a nice guy who has just found himself in a difficult situation that is none of his own doing. But, who knows what will be revealed in the rest of the story. Sorry to end it prematurely, but I am glad it made you want to find out what is to come.
Thank you for the kind words about my new profile pic. Blessings back.

I hope you will write the rest of the story, John. I sure want to know what they are paying Michael to do. I did like the way he seems to love his wife, and he seems like a good man, but what is next?

Hi Pamela. Yes, Michael seems like an innocent victim of some scam or not-so-innocent plan. I will certainly post more soon.

John, you are such a tease! Do you have a plan for where this is headed, or are you making this up as you go along LOL?

Linda, you seem to know me too well. In fact I just started writing in response to the prompt without a whole story line mapped out. I haven’t written the ending yet, and it’s going to be a surprise for even me. I have a few scenarios buzzing around in my head…just have to settle on one.

    Awe John....
    You got me again.

Just as I'm intently waiting to see what's in the video...you leave me stranded.

Great write.   Definitely suspenseful and it seems so real.
Just like something that could happen to anyone.

    Can't wait to read more.

This is certainly an intriguing story! Michael seems so nice, and his desire to help his wife is lovely. In real life, sometimes bad things happen to good people, though. I’m looking forward to the next instalment of John’s story very much.
