This is a terrific story, and a perfect response to Brenda’s word prompt “Beginnings.”

The story had me captivated, Ravi, and it wasn’t until he collected flowers that I became aware what was happening. Well done.
What a wonderful story, Ravi! I loved reading. I wasn't even suspicious until he had to dress and go to the restaurant, and even then I didn't know it was the cleverl wife. I really enjoyed reading this stoey.
Thanks for posring Ravi's story John.
Hello Raviji!
Great response to the word prompt by Brenda. Your story is engaging and it kept the interest of the reader intact, till the end. Thank you for weaving this story and providing a wonderful read.
Thank you John for sharing this.
Happy Weekend to both of you.
Thank you, Ravi, for the interesting story in response to Brenda's prompt, "Beginnings." I started to guess it was his smart wife's scheme not until he had to go to the hotel, and he was relieved of being in a trap. Simply outstanding storytelling.
Thank you, John, for sharing Ravi's post.
What a fascinating story of a wife’s clever way of arranging an anniversary celebration. Enjoyed it immensely. Thank you Ravi and Jodah for sharing.
Great story-telling Ravi, and a sweet ending! Thanks John for sharing it in the forums.

Beautiful story, Ravi! What a surprise this was. It was so heartwarming to see the extent of your wife's love for you. To clarify, at first I thought it was a fictional story. Then I thought, no, Ravi usually writes from his personal experience. Whether true, fiction or enhanced reality, this was a wonderful way to use the word prompt "beginnings."
By the way, I went to your profile to read the story. Thank you, Brenda, for sharing but the link you posted doesn't work.

Here's my reply for Ravi Rajan's piece...
Ravi...
Your article, " A New Beginning to Our Relationship" is quite an intriguing story.
From the beginning, you capture our attention with that mysterious package.
Your curiosity definitely got the best of you.
You had no choice but to follow it through to the end.
The excitement & worry that passes through your mind is terrific.
So glad after that long wait in the hotel...it ended up being your wife.
I suppose you will remember your anniversary from now on.
Great write.
I'll post a link in the word prompt article.
It amazes me that both you & John had the same idea...but what is really magical is that you both wrote them on the same day.
Great job.
What a great story! I loved reading it. Ravi has a great imagination, and if there's an element of truth in the story, his wife does as well!
