A pleasant conversation Rosina. You love your father very much, which shows up in the emotions oozing out of your writing and the way you look forward to his advice before taking any important action/decision in your life. Great thought-provoking writing Rosina

Thanks, Pamela, for sharing Rosina's story.

    Rosina...
Touching write...having a discussion with your late father & finding solutions to the problems you feel facing you in life.

It's tough when you want to be there for your mother and also wish to follow your calling in life.

Perhaps you will make it abroad one day soon & bring your mother along.

Yes it's a dilemma deciding to be there for my mother and also desire to follow my calling in life.

My middle sister was carrying on formalities for green card for my mother but she couldn't continue visiting the US when the covid struck. And she doesn't have the patience to restart all over again!

But perhaps I can convince her to restart the formalities and I can still go abroad as I want to.

I appreciate your comments, Brenda. Thank you so much.

I wish you the best gal.

I can't imagine the paperwork....but you can handle it yourself.....
I don't think you need your sister to do it since she'll be with you.

Goodluck...but I know you will get it done.

Yes, you are right, Brenda. I will have to handle the paperwork. But before that I have to make sure I get admission and PhD funding. It's a long process but I will have to be diligent with it.

Thanks Brenda for the well-wishes and good luck.

    Hello Rosina,
This was so touching and heartfelt. There are so many takeaways from your conversation with your father.
It is so true, that parents are always with us, and whenever we look up to them, they have the right advice and guidance for us. Nothing can match this bond, at whatever stage of our lives, we may be.
Thank you for this inspiring write up.
Thank you to Pamela for sharing.
