    Hey Rosina...
I just happened to be awake and saw you had just posted this one.

I remember those days in school too ~ the time I got my first B.
I had been a straight a student for years.

I was in the 8th grade...and I even got grounded for it.
Then in high school I got my first C...
So i think your grades were great.

We put too much pressure on ourselves back then.

    Enjoy your day.

Thanks a lot, Brenda for sharing the link. You are right we put too much pressure on ourselves back then. Yes, B's and C's were considered bad grades; you had to be an 'A' student. Gone are those days- in a way life is much better and simpler now. I can heave a sigh of relief. I appreciate your comments, Brenda. I would advise you to put your worries away and fall back asleep. Sweet Dreams!!

        Thanks so much Rosina.
I've been battling a headache all day.

I think it's because the pressure in the weather is changing...we've been really hot these last few days and now thunder storms are brewing for later today.

Regardless...my head pain is at that ice pack stage.

        I'll see if I can't grab a few zzz's.

A headache can be hard to cope, I understand. But still try to relax and grab a few zzz's. See you tomorrow, Brenda.

I guess if you were always used to coming first in class, it would have been a little disappointing to finish second, and later 4th, but I feel all your scores were quite good. I was always in the top 10 in most classes overall. I was happy enough with that. Thanks for sharing this, Rosina.
Thank you for sharing the link too, Brenda.

Yes, you got me right, John. I am happy to know you were satisfied being in the top 10. Mental peace is important. Life is not only about acquiring grades. I think you were smart to take on that attitude. I am so glad you like my article. I appreciate your comments a lot.

Thanks for sharing you cool experiences, Rosina. It sure does sound like you had a lot of pressure. I made A's and B's, but I remember getting my first C and my parents weren't happy. I enjoyed reading about your experiences, but I wish you would have had a more considerate teacher that first time.

Thanks for posting Rosina's article, Brenda.

Yes, my younger days were spent on academic efforts, and I had a lot of pressure. That Bangla teacher in grade 6 could have been more considerate and made my life easier. Anyways, now those days are gone with the wind. I am happy I don't have that pressure now.

I appreciate your reading and making valuable comments, Pamela. Thank you so much!!

    Hello Rosina,
Thank you for sharing your school memories. You were a good student and I can understand how you must have felt, if the marks were a little less.
Your article took me back in time. I was a bright student and I remember the pressure of consistent good performances in our results.
At this stage of my life, I feel that the students should not have too much pressure, but it’s important to comprehend and apply the knowledge gained by their studies.
    Thank you for sharing this.
    Thank you Brenda.

Yes, Chitrangada, I was a good student, and my parents made sure I always excelled. When I went to High School, my Dad let me be on my own and let me handle my studies. That is when I faced many challenges, but I guess it was good for me. I learned to overcome them eventually. Yes, I agree with your ending points. Thank you for reading and your insightful comments. I appreciate them a lot.

Thank you for sharing this article about your school memories, Rosina. It is true that achieving something a little less than what we are used to can be disappointing. I can relate to that as well. It would have been so good if we could remain content everytime.

It is hard to remain content every time, Ankita. I am glad you can relate to the problem. School memories are hard to forget as we all work hard to get good grades. I am happy you like the piece. I appreciate your comments. Thank you so much.
