Amidst all the forum rubbish going on and the abundant holiday "ho-hum" let's see what films make you chuckle any time of year.  The aggressive nature of so many in the religious forums is not a sanitary place to be.  There is enough poop happening out in the real world for us to worry about.  What's your film right now?

I still get a giggle from Jim Carrey's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."  The garter belt was a nice touch for those green legs.

"Hot Shots" with Charlie Sheen still gets a laugh.  It's quite patriotic when the President saves the day by flatulating in the ocean.

I'm a minority amongst women but I laugh out loud every time I watch the Three Stooges.

      Can't forget about Part Deux!

Lately I've taken a liking to Paul Rudd movies.  Role Models keeps me coming back from more.

"When Harry met Sally". I was watching by myself, laughing so hard. Hubby came running in to see what was going on!

Dracula is a beast and not one to be laughed at.
      See how fearsome he is?

Agreed.  A most righteous film! smile

He also made me roll during Ace Ventura When Nature Calls.  The hand puppet scene at the British Consolate was epic!

Someday I'll get a DVD of the old Newhart episodes.  I'd love to show the boys the classic "Larry, Daryl and Darrel" scenes.

Rat Race, The Princes Bride, The Whole Nine Yards, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Snowball Express, and if all else fails, Silly Songs from Veggie Tales cartoons.

I'd heard about Prince Bride for years, and I'd heard people quoting it and making it seem as if it's a real classic.  Finally, my friend and I watched it a few months ago.  I just kind of sat "blankly" watching it.  Was it me?    Is it one of those that a person has to watch many times?

One that I laughed even when watching it alone the first time I saw it was Enchanted.   The one that had me laughing more than any other movie ever has (I think) was The End with Burt Reynolds (from the 70's).  I don't know if it was just my mood or not...

More recently, The Invention of Lying was one I found funny.

I would agree that Jim Carrey Movies always make me laugh. My favorites are Ace Ventura Pet Detective, Ace Ventura when Nature calls, Bruce Almighty and Liar Liar. I love almost every scene in when nature calls, but my favorite is the scene where he sees a lady wearing a fox fur, and he hits her husband in the face and dances around the room wearing him like a coat.

Do not pass go. Do not collect 200 dollars. Or, when he kidnaps a guy and tries to get him to tell him where the sacred bat is by doing that weird thing with his eye, and the knife and fork on a plate...oh and we can't forget the Rhino scene! Funny stuff!

Another one that cracks me up is Nutty Professor with Eddie Murphy. That scene where they are all sitting at the dinner table, is probably the most I have laughed during in a movie.

Spaceballs still cracks me up, and Blazing Saddles.

and wow you bought up Spaceballs and Blazing Saddles, you might as well keep the list growing because Mel Brooks movies are too funny lmao.

Adam Sandler pretty much always gets a laugh out of me.  I have seen "The Wedding Singer" about 5 million times, and I find something new to laugh at every time I watch it.

"Sixteen Candles" is often remembered for the love story or whatever, but that movie is hilarious.  Between Mike Baker and Long Duk Dong, I can't get through that movie without giggling.
