   Yes, I would like to think so.  I try to reach out to others who are in need - whether it's need for advice, a friend, help with a project or just whatever I can do.  I believe that what we give builds us up as human beings and since I want to be a better human being, I strive to be that by helping others as well as myself and my immediate family.  Sometimes something as simple as a smile at a stranger or a kind word does wonders.  People really do forget how much small gestures mean I think

   Of course, I have extended help to blind people, orphans and people I see begging for food on the streets including my neighbors and colleagues at work.

   Yes, I have met few beautiful strangers who became my close friends and we influence each other lives for better, sometimes it is important to open your eyes, ears and heart to a fellow traveller you meet on your journeys through life.
   Just by meeting them and travelling a short distance by their side changes your life forever.
