You've been given $1000 dollars to redo an entire room of your house - what would you do and how?
How would you redo or renovate an entire room in your home for $1000. It has to be one room only What room would you pick and how would you redo it with only the $1000 budget?
I would love to have built-in shelves in my living room and $1,000 would definitely help me get that accomplished.
I would hire a painter to do our living room. We have a wood stove that occasionally smokes so all rooms need painting. I would also have our carpet pulled up and see what we could put down for the remainder of the money. I hate carpet but the cost of having hardwoods put in is prohibitive.
