A lot of time. We eat all of our meals outside, and when we are just resting or relaxing. So, probably 4 hours a day, at a guess. Some of that is of course, hammock time on the porch. This is Brazil after all!
During the hot season here in Michigan I'm going to eat outside more and just enjoy the heat like you do there. It's just a more relaxed way of living. If it gets too hot I'll just get in the water.
Where in Michigan lisasuniquevoice? I am from Alpena originally
Not much since the neighbor in the duplexes shared porch is a drunk stupid idiot and really enjoys his porch.
I'm sorry you have to endure that when you step outside. I understand though. I haven't always had a porch I could actually use.
Best of luck to you,
Thanks, no big deal though. Hopefully we will be moving soon to a house.
As much time as we possibly can! Our front porch is actually our deck that goes from the front of the house to the back of it and in the summer months we consider it another room! We've got an outdoor kitchen, a firepit and outdoor speakers for music so it's a place that we enjoy a lot. I plant a lot of potted flowers and put out bird and hummingbird feeders so we like to sit and watch the activity.
It's always fun to set everything up in the spring and in fact, we're in the process of setting things up right now so that we'll be ready for Memorial Day Weekend!
Not much at all. I can only use the front porch when the weather is perfect, a few weeks in the fall and spring. The nights are chilled, the days not too hot. Since I'm in Texas, it is too hot during the summer to enjoy the porch. Just stay inside all day...
I spend most of the summer on the porch, it is peaceful and a private space, a beautiful part of our home but outside. We eat out there, and just listen to the birds and have simple conversations

For some time now, I've noticed that he drinks a lot more water than I'm used to seeing him drink, and sometimes he'll just lay around in front of his dish, only to drink more water before he either camps out again or walks off.And all through the day, I see him drinking way more than my other...
