Is red and white a color combination you'd choose for a room in your house?
maybe a kitchen, but even then...probably not. Red is suppose to stimulate the appetite from what I've read though.
Absolutely! As a matter of fact, my kitchen/dining room combo room is decorated in red and white! I have a coca-cola theme, so the red and white are just a natural choice for colors!
Ew, no. There are many more combinations that appear better in a room. A red and white room would be easy to mess up, especially if you have children. Also the colors would bring about a ton of stress. I'm an introvert, bright colors can make me feel tired. Blues, browns, tan, greens, black, etc. Those shades are easier to keep in the home. The only room with red in it is the kitchen. Red cabinets, but that's it.
What? Reds give energy not tiredness. Reds also give sexual energy if worn on the body
Reds or bright colors give us unwanted energy. Home is where we calm down and recharge. Wearing red is different from having red in your home.
lburmaster,
It's so funny that you should mention red cabinets because that's what I want to paint red. As for the other colors for a home I do like the browns, tans, and greens too.
Thanks a lot,
Lisa
Yes I have a room that is red but it is an apple red (McIntosh apple red) and not a bright red and it is beautiful. We have white crown molding to accent it
Red to me symbolizes romance as white symbolizes as purity. I think they are a great combination together. It just depends on how you put them together. and the shading of red as well.
Red and white are not my colors for decorating my home, a more of a countryside color, I would prefer blue, or olive green, and sunshine colors,

Here's a puzzle: there are 3 primary colors; red, blue and yellow. . .Mix them to get the other colors. Now, scientifically, WHITE is made up of all the colors; and BLACK is considered the absence of all color. How, then, when we mix all of the colors in the paint box, we get a...

On the way you see 2 rose bushes. One is full of red roses, the other full of white. You decide to pick 20 roses for your boy/girlfriend, of any color combination. What number of white and red do you pick? (you can pick all of one or any combo of the two)

Have you ever painted any of the walls in your home red?
