You beat me to it, John. It was on my list of things to do today to try to post this excellent article on a forum. As ever, Linda has written an interesting, informative and very well-illustrated article. All of these remind me of the spring flowers we have in the UK.

This is a very interesting article Linda. Your pictures and descriptions are excellent. I lived much of my life in Ohio by Lake Erie, and we would see most of the those flowers. I was always so excited when crocuses peeked through the snow. It sounds like you can see many of these flowers within a short walking distance. I enjoyed reading your informative article.

Thanks for posting Linda's article John.

Thank you for the comment, Pamela. Yes, all of my photos were taken close to my home. I live in a suburban area, but I'm happy that there are green areas and parks in the neighbourhood.

Thanks Linda for showing us the beautiful spring blooming flowers in the Pacific northwest. I remember the first flowering plants with joy after a long cold winter when living in Wisconsin. Thanks John for sharing her well-written article.
