Ha! Hee, hee, hee, ha, ha, ha, ha. Seriously, no and again, ha, hee, hee, hee, hee smile It's good getting payouts, but good not that good. Perhaps when I hit several dozen thousand views daily, but the time and level of attention and focus required will likely still not be as financially rewarded as similar levels of effort are in other endeavors.

I always think; does the income even cover bills like electricity, computer maintenance and repair?  I am doubtful about this!  I just do this as a hobby.  Thanks for commenting smile

lol - ummm, no. I make extra pocket change here, but my actual living comes from my websites and writing for clients etc.  I will probably never retire, but I'll always remain self-employed and that's good enough for me.  I look forward to the day when I can work fewer hours though! smile Hopefully residual income will contribute to some of that.

That sounds like a plan!  Yeah I guess this was a little tongue in cheek, but you never know when spare change comes in handy!  Thanks for commenting smile

I am not sure if that could even be a reality.  I am among the group of Hubbers that wish Hubpages would reveal the top earners statistics.  No names are necessary, just the numbers.  If I knew it was at least possible to make a certain amount of money every month, then I would put a lot more effort into writing new hubs.
I have a pretty low amount of hubs so far, so I am no expert on the matter.

They probably wouldn't ever reveal that because the top earners probably make under 10k...and those are published writers who, if they devoted time to writing a book that sells well, would probably make more writing books.  Thanks for commenting smile
