How has late Child Support Payments missed up your credit?
If you don't pay your child support, it will show up eventually on your credit report and it is almost as bad as unpaid taxes.
And if you lose a driver's license or professional license for unpaid child support, you lose the ability to pay your bills and likely fall behind on other debts, too.
