Drug Testing For Welfare Recipients: A New Republican Tax on the Poor.

Scott Dscriminates Against Drug Addicts

Rick Scott Taxes the Poor

As if Republican Rick Scott could make one more bad decision for all of Florida he has decided to discriminate against drug addicts who by law in the state of Florida are not criminals but sick individuals by denying the their welfare checks. And he is charging them for drug tests no matter if they are clean or not which is a tax on welfare.

Scott has to pick on the poor and disenfranchised. If a welfare recipient is clean they have to pay for their own drug tests and if they aren't they lose their benefit. It is simply a welfare tax which I don't think is constitutional. I doubt it is legal to TAX WELFARE. It is a little incredulous given by definition all politicians are welfare recipients so why don’t they have to prove they are drug free as well? I am all against drugs so lets also require doctors and surgeons to provide urine samples and pay for them before they walk into a hospital or before each surgery. Let's tax the doctor in and out of the practice of medicine too.

And Congress should be drug free as well. God knows with the decisions they have all be making lately it does seem like they are on something. And they have to make really important decisions so lets test everyone in Washington DC for drugs daily before we ever go after anyone outside of the plush cushy greedy life inside the beltway. The truth is DC wouldn’t be able to pass drug tests. We have supreme court justices that can’t pass drug tests but what is good for everyone outside the beltway should be really good for everyone inside the beltway.

I think every last person in this country who holds a key position should be drug tested everyday of their lives three times a day including but not limited to everyone inside the beltway and they can all pay for it as well. That goes for everyone in the legislature in Tallahassee and in the Governor’s office. I think perhaps given Rick Scott’s career in the field of medicine and his exceptional poor life choices he has made indicate he is in dire need to be drug tested every single day of his life. After all he leads this state and if he wants anyone else to take a drug test I think he should be first in line for drug testing as well as the legislature. And they should all have to pay for their drug tests.

Because there are no bigger welfare recipients then our representatives and they are paid very well and the least they should do is be required to live under the same scrutiny they would a single Mother with 4 children should. I bet and this is only a bet that more representatives would pop positive for drugs on a percentage basis then welfare recipients. After all representatives only represent to fulfill all their vices, with prostitution, drugs and greed. Let’s get Washington DC and all politicians clean first!!!

That would be some change I could believe in!!

Then we can rip the drugs away from the entire medical profession which abuse drugs terribly and the legal profession. Let's all get sober together!! But DC first and foremost since they lead, they can lead in sobriety.

And then let the country dispel the myth that only poor people do drugs because quite frankly that is not even close to being true. Drug Addiction is a worse problem of the wealthy then that of people on welfare. People on welfare can't afford food let alone drugs.

Let's sober up all of DC. After all Congress gets a larger proportion of welfare then any other welfare recipient in the country so they should be be drug tested first and foremost. In the financial crisis of 2011 they gave themselves a 5% raise and they seem incapable of waking up to the new reality of the world they live in in which they re no longer revered but are utterly loathed and detested.

Sober all the bums up and then send them all to the unemployment line. The least we can do for them is let them experience what we have endure under their tyranny.
