Republicans Have An Idea!

Updated on August 22, 2010

AP

NEW YORK – Republican candidate for governor Carl Paladino said he would transform some New York prisons into dormitories for welfare recipients, where they would work in state-sponsored jobs, get employment training and take lessons in "personal hygiene."

The next part may be hard to believe: Paladino is a wealthy Buffalo real estate developer and is very popular with many tea party activists.

He will be competing for the Republican nomination with former U.S. Rep. Rick Lazio. The primary is Sept. 14.

Not only are these men competing for a very plush office that will serve the biggest pigs at America's hog-trough, but the winner will also be to keep the Golden Pig award for the following year.

Someone said the other day, "You don't have a lot of pride in America Micky."

Well, when Americans see headlines like:

NY candidate: Prison dorms for welfare recipients

-we can all stick our chests out.

The Tea Party - When being rich and crazy just ain't enough.

Republican candidate for governor Carl Paladino said that current prisoners would be freed to become real-estate developers and then become candidates for public office, like governor of New York.

The wealthy Buffalo real estate developer popular with many tea party activists said he would insist that personal hygiene would be taught. He was beside himself to find out that many welfare recipients had not been to finishing school.

Uh oh! It looks like Micky is going to pick on BIG BUSINESS again!

Remember how you got fired from that job because you came in late?

Remember how they gave you that severance pay of 30 million dollars?

I thought you would.

Some disgustingly terrible workers get paid even more - to leave!

Mark Hurd - $30 million

Former CEO Mark Hurd stepped down from Hewlett-Packard on Aug. 6 after a public relations nightmare involving falsified expense reports and sexual harassment allegations. He was rewarded with a severance package worth more than $30 million.

I hope this will hold him over until another company to screw comes along.

Yo! Mark Hurd! Go ahead and slap a poor person!

U da Man!

Stick your chests out America!

We've had winners like this since 1776!

William McGuire - $1.2 billion

After leaving his CEO post, McGuire was forced to forfeit more than $400 million worth of stock options and retirement benefits to settle civil and SEC suits related to the company's options practices. As part of his agreement with the SEC, he agreed not to serve as an officer or director of a public company for 10 years.

He's just going to have to learn to live on a severance package of $1.2 billion from United Health Group!

He may have to sell a country or something.

Lee Raymond - $392.5 million

Lee Raymond is going to have to make ends meet with a severance package of $392.5 million
from ExxonMobil. Years as CEO: 1999 - 2005 coincided with GW's wars for oil so Lee should be paying GW a little kick-back. Stock price change during tenure: +63%

Lee worked his way up the "corporate ladder".

You'd think his his ears wouldn't stick out as much!

                          (just think about it)

Robert Nardelli

CEO Nardelli left Home Depot after a year of heavy criticism for everything from his pay package to the underperforming retailer's corporate governance. Stock price change during tenure: -4%.

For his failures Little Bobby Nardelli will only receive $212 million!

That should be a lesson to all you businessmen out there!

Henry McKinnell - $195.8 million

It get's worse for Pfizer's Henry McKinnell!

In the months leading up to his resignation, Pfizer's board of directors became increasingly concerned with McKinnell's management style and struggles to bring new drugs to the market, according to the NY Times. Stock price change during tenure: -36.

$195.8 million !

He's already trying to adapt to domestic caviar!

Michael Ovitz - $81.6 million

Then the day came for little Michael Ovitz.

There was no cute "pink slip" but for the one he was wearing.

Michael was called on to the carpet's carpet and told that his services were no longer required.

Michael asked how he came to be in disfavor.

It was explained in a very diplomatic way that the investors were sick and tired of his sorry ass and to take this $81.6 million dollars and get the hell out of Disneyland.

He was last seen skipping out of the front gate.

Slap a poor man in the face!

I'm so proud of businessmen and republicans, my buttons are popping off my $150 Tommy Hilfiger shirt made in a US commonwealth sweatshop, on an island I never heard of, even though textiles are shut down in my neck of the woods.

Maybe I should see if my $52 Bangladesh shirt is better.

Republicans! Keeping those prices down and giving those savings to YOU!

PROUD!

Businessmen!!!

PROUD!!!

WAIT!

This money give-away reads like "welfare"!!!

Now- these people have failed at their jobs or not.

Regardless! This is too much welfare.

Where is the outcry from conservatives about this "welfare".

Where are the "tea-parties"?

Now have those people come on back in.

We'll give them some clothes.

We'll give them a cell  to live in.

We'll lock it up at night. They'll be safe.

But isn't it just like a republican to come up with the idea that an ideal place for a welfare mother, would be a jail cell?

I guess I'm glad I can't really be surprised anymore.

Tea-Partiers and other Republicans, rejoice!

But elected Democrats will help.

Because there are no Democrats after election.

We're all businesses.

Selling everything.

Morals are the first to go.

God's law is the first to go.

Paladino

Paladino is a wealthy Buffalo real estate developer and all he could come up with, for welfare mothers, was prison cells.

Brilliant- right? Isn't this brilliant?

This is the only idea that a wealthy real estate developer could come up with.

I'm so old.

I'm so tired.

God please take me.

But when America?

When America?

Please tell me when the real party of America will exist?

Can't we start today?

The Republicans are not going to help anybody.

Democrats are Republicans.

Tea-Party folk are republicans too radical for Republicans?

No!

WE need a party.

"Americans UP S#i! Creek Party"

             (UP-under paid)

            The Brown Party!

Oh, I'm sure that these prison cells will be some of the finest.

The prison cells may have ermine carpeting.

I'm sure folks will be lining up from everywhere to live in a cell.

It's just so preciously appropriate that a businessman, a Republican, a Tea-Partier, a conservative, an outsider will bring us such revolutionary ideas!

He's against what's been going on in Washington.

Paladino - For The People

He's for some people alright!

I think most of "The People" would be but not limited to, white, rich, Republican, Tea Totin', ....

If you have the money to buy one political party,

why stop at buying one?
