Can Obama provide memos that gave very clear directives securing our personnel in Benghazi?
That shouldn't be hard should it? You don't need an investigation over that. I'm sure someone received a memo saying what he said, right? So why doesn't someone provide proof so that we all know that it was not Obama who messed up in Benghazi?
you can't handle the truth!
interesting how bush/cheney ran unfunded wars, tortured & killed prisoners w/o any accounting, ran guantanomo so illegally that even this conservative supreme court reined him in --- all this and much more secrecy, spying, wiretapping w/o warrants, and NONE of those yelling about obama said a peep.
there needs to be transparency but it doesnt come close to these demands to micromanage foreign policy after the fact. the president has already provided more information than bush did throughout his entire bloody terms
this is just another version of the asinine birther movement - WHATEVER the admin does provide it wont enough .
Unfunded wars-, Bush took the vote to congress & congress voted . Thank your democratic congress. Torture- 3 people were subject /resulted in Bin laden's death. Obama is still using Bush policies. U R attacking Bush but want 2 leave Obama alone.
Obama violated the War Poers Act. Bush did not as Skarlet pointed out. You must have forgotten the events of 911 or have a very selective memory.
The first thing about handling the turth cascoly is being able to identify it.
bush distorted the truth and lied to everyone, even getting colin powell to unwittingly lie to the UN. n
none of bush's torture victims gave evidence that captured osama
bush cynically used 9/11 to invade iraq which had NO connection to it, or WMD
cascoly, you do realize that the international consensus was that they did possess WMDs at the time troops were sent in? And, more than likely they were hidden or move out of country. Remember, that Saddam WAS a weapon of mass destruction.
How many years will we have to hear how people think Bush ruined the universe? He's gone. His term is over. Let's concentrate on the "now." And the now is pretty scary.
the overwhelming international consensus was there were NO WMD - and history has confirmed this - there is NO EVIDENCE saddam had WMD and even the bush warmongers eventually admitted this
Take your pick...Fast & Furious, Benghazi, Obamacare (you'll have to pass it to see what's in it) or any other mess this administration been involved with...his promise to be the "most transparent" administration has been one of many lies told to "We the people"...
I don't think anyone "passed" Benghazi..
the affordable care act was presented & debated in congress - unlike romney who refuses to say anything in detail about any of his alleged plans
Cascoly, that is not even close to the truth. "You'll have to pass it to see what's in it" came from Polosi's lips. We are just now finding out how bad it is and confirming what those of us that opposed it knew from the start.
ROFL -- how could you know it was bad from the start if you also claim you didnt know what was in it!
Cascoly, 1st, it was a federal program that goes against the Constitution. 2nd, federal programs are ineffecient and poorly run. 3rd, the parts that were availavery . 4th, reading it in it's ENTIRETY before signing was not possible.
Unless Obama was issuing those directives from a Las Vegas or Colorado campaign event they probably don't exist. Benghazi was inconvenient for Obama so he is covering it up. Then I read a comment like I read below about Bush. I reckon this was Bush's fault too. The man is an Obama fan for sure. Either that or a parrot.
In all honesty I don't believe the average american is losing sleep over foreign policy these days. The economy and now hurricane Sandy are on center stage.
However what no politican Repbulican or Democrat will ever admit to the nation is if someone has made up there mind that they are going to kill people and they are willing to die doing so....It's almost impossible to stop them!
CIA intelligience and undercover stings will capture some people ahead of time and others getaway. There is no 100% fool proof system.
Just recently there were headlines that read; "Jet skier breaches $100 million security system at New York's Kennedy airport". If the jet skier had been a terriorist who attacked a plane would we be blaming Mayor Bloomberg or President Obama? Probably. Anyone seeking perfection in an imperfect world is doomed for disappointment over and over again.
Honestly people need to pay as much attention to Obama as they did to Bush. It's called an informed public.
The Frog Prince, I agree with you. I'm just pointing out that people tend to focus on things that personally effect them most of the time. I suppose that is human nature. When things are great for us we notice other things around us. Home is first.
