   Is Obama a great president?  Why or why not?

   In my opinion, Obama will go down in history as one of the worst president in modern times beating out Jimmy Carter. In every aspect of out lives, the last 7 years has become worst. In economics, in foreign policy and in race relations. The very people that voted for him have fared worst, including blacks and hispanics and millennials. The only people that has done well are the people on Wall Street and the 1%. He has created enemy out of our friend Israel and have gave in to our enemies of N. Korea and Iran. Our nation is weaker and the world is less safe with ISIS. The health care reform is a mess. He would have done better just to expand Medicaid for 20 million people, instead, he has destroyed the healthcare system and made insurance company rich.
   Of all the things that he has done, the worst in my opinion is undermining our Constitution. It sets a precedence that a President can over reach his power by way of executive action. As a Constitutional lawyer, he should have know better. The IRS and VA and EPA are other scandals that will hurt our democracy. The burdening debt of over 19 Trillion will bankrupt out children and grandchildren.

   President Obama did nothing to change the financial industry as they actually profited from taking the country down in 2008.
   He spent too much time campaigning, fund raising, and golfing in his first term. Yes, all presidents did this, but all presidents didn't have an economy that failed, and big businesses that became super global conglomerates. Most of what we get comes from China, are exports are very low compared to our imports.
   
   Now, in his final term he is still going across the country campaigning for the party, and fund raising. Remember in 2008 when all those politicians were campaigning for almost 2 years, the economy failed before the election. The obvious conclusion was that the election was more important than running the country.
   
   GW Bush made a mistake with Iraq, and president Obama made a mistake that has created ISIS in a country that was under the control of the US military before Obama removed them.
   
   Killing Osama Bin Laden almost duplicated the Jimmy Carter failure in Iran. We lost a stealth helicopter in the OBL raid. Killing OBL didn't reduce the terrorist threat, but had we taken him alive there is no telling what intelligence we could have gotten from him.
   
   Obama's interference with Immigration laws allowed the illegal aliens from Mexico and south of there to be given preferential treatment over the Legal immigrants that are denied entry to the US because of quotas.
   
   Obama's suits against border states to protect themselves against illegal aliens, and many of them are gang members with the drug cartel. It made no sense not to finish the wall across the southern border, as these crossings are also used by the drug cartel, and other criminals including terrorists.
   
   All presidents also use Exec Orders, but Obama used them as if he was congress, just because congress was in a gridlock.
   
   We are still in trouble with N Korea, and Iran because we have no plan to stop them from developing WMD.
   
   Obama care is still not fully implemented, and that is five years after it was passed. The insurance companies are still in control of healthcare, and more so now that Obama care makes it mandatory to have insurance. The quality of healthcare has not changed for the better. Most of the people that I know have had to take very high deductibles to afford the health insurance as their old insurance was not meeting the Obamacare std.
   
   What did Obamacare really accomplish for the middle class? Nothing really, the one facet of it that was a good chang

   Incumbent presidents generally don't get a lot of kudos.  It's in the nature of the majority to criticize and find fault with 'the present moment.'  But wait until two or three more presidents have come and gone.  I think Barack O'Bama will then be recognized as one of America's greats.   Until then, he'll continue to be on the receiving end of a lot of flack.
   
   And as a person?  Well, I think he's got his heart in the right place.

      Yeah Tom, like you know what's in his heart. Typical liberal, all that matters is "perceived" good intentions, never the actual results which in this case are and no matter how much time passes will prove deleterious.

   Obama is the WORST president ever.  He instituted Obama"care" which is a disaster.  Medical & health care were fine in this country before Obumbler instituted this fiasco/disaster of a health care system.  Then there is the escalation of the amnesty program which there is such an influx of illegal immigrants which is further inundating our over-taxed health, education, & health systems.   
   
   Obama hasn't done anything to improve the socioeconomic situation in this country.  Unemployment is still at high numbers.  Blacks have reported that they are worse under Obama than they have been under any President.  Even some Liberals are becoming disenchanted with the sociopolitical climate of Obama.  Many Liberals & Democrats are going to vote Republican because they view the Democrats as becoming more left-wing, radical, & increasing out of touch with them.
