   Are you aware that the Supreme Court decision legalizing Obamacare was a 5-4 decision? (Legal tax!)
   
   It was controversial at the time and has remained so.  Democrats had the chance to make needed corrections.  Republicans have that chance now.  Meanwhile the original flaws are increasingly obvious, and only a bipartisan approach is likely to give American the needed health plan at a time when mutual efforts are so lacking.

   Did Democrats really have a chance to make changes to the Affordable Care Act? Because they had to water it down and compromise to get it passed to begin with. Then, Republicans gained the majority, and voted over 50 times to repeal, or dismantle it, while Obama was still in office. Doing things to make it better didn't really seem to be on anybody's agenda. It was just keep the Republicans from getting enough votes to kill it.
   
   It would be great if there could be a bipartisan agreement on healthcare, but the two parties are pretty far apart on what they want. Republicans want everyone to fend for themselves in the free market, which is more about making profits than making people healthy. This morning, Democrats started calling for single payer, which eliminates the insurance companies from the equation completely.
   
   I'm tired of my health being seen as something to monetize. I don't think insurance companies, or corporately owned healthcare facilities, or big pharma, care whether I'm healthy or in pain, or in need of medication that isn't worse than the condition I'm taking it for. I'm nothing but profit and loss, and numbers on a balance sheet. When it's more cost effective to deny me treatment, or withhold lifesaving drugs, I die. That has to change, and at this point, I don't really care who leads the charge.

      Not only that,little marco removed the risk corridors  Medicare part d used,so gvt would cover any losses.Just like little donnie now is refusing to have fed cover costs,so of course its "failing". rubio is bigtime koch-@#!/^,and trump following suit

   So very interesting. And I don't think the discentors had it together. Just clear this is an executive branch idea. It violates states rights all to hell. Even the maybe fix will be way over the top centralized gov. totally unconstitutional.
   My birth in Arizona gives me the right to be an Arizonan. By federalist restriction argued to hell I am an Arizonan first and American second. Yes and hallelujah for us small populated states to have an Electoral College.

   The ball is in the dem court, and if they just sit on the sideline, then they alone have prevented any improvement to healthcare in the US.
   
   Being obstructionists is not an excuse for their failure to do their job.
   The search for the guilty doesn't solve problems.
   
   If the Democrats fail to act, then I would hope that everyone starts voting independent. Voting sheep of both parties have caused the decline of the US since the 70s. We have one team, and that is congress, and when it fails the country fails. So all this talk about who is to blame is a problem in and of itself.
   
   The democrats are going down again in 2018 because they haven't done anything good since they lost the election. While Maxine Waters for example has been doing a non stop action of attacking president Trump, she has failed to do her job in Inglewood for the people that keep electing her. Some of them even call her a racist. People in her district need help, and she has failed them.
   
   A main problem of Obamacare was that it was another TAX, and that is what Justice Roberts said when he led the SC decision on saying that it was constitutional. SCOTUS decisions rarely solve problems, just look at Roe v Wade.
   
   Obamacare forced people that didn't want insurance to either get it or pay a fine. But all you hear about from the dems is about all the people that will lose their insurance when Obamacare is repealed. Remember, if you are happy with your health insurance and your doctor you can keep them. President Obama lied.
   
   If the current republican plan is not all that it should be then the dems should get involved in trying to make it better. Make the problems known to the public. Most of the dem opposition to the republican plan came before anyone even knew what was the plan.
   
   This is a tipping point for voters, and they can control their party by not being loyal to them. They need to tell the party they will go independent. They can still vote repub or dem in the end, but the parties won't be able to count on them like they have been doing for the last one hundred years.
   
   If you picked a side on healthcare, you are part of the problem.

   It MUST be mutial, the R's can't write a health care bill in secret. Plus they had 7 years to get ideas to change it. It was a start for Obama, he always said it was unfinished.

   No, I did not know. I am not very knowledgeable on politics and not so sure of what this even means. I do miss Obama, though. And, he was also such a handsome president, and had such a kind smile.
