Name something you have done to reduce consumption of water?
I put a brick in my toilet cistern! I now save a brick volume's worth of water ever time I flush the loo!
i installed a dual flush toilet in our home and i have talked a few customers into doing the same thing.
I use a low flow shower head, they have a nice benefit of increasing the water pressure to.
reroute my laundry water into the garden
turn off the facuet when brushing my teeth, rinsing dishes, shaving my legs from a pail rather than the shower.......bailing my waste water to the garden.........
I am all about water conservation!
I replaced the washers in my tub spicket so it isn't leaking any longer. It's a simple task that most any home owner can perform on their own.
I stopped letting the water run while brushing my teeth.
I brush my teeth while I shower. I am not quite sure just how much water that saves, but I sincerely believe every drop counts right? I have also participated in 10 k marathons for "save water" projects in our city.
I take a shower once a week LOL j/k. I wash less laundry by combining non-fading colors with whites, rather than 2 small loads, I have now 1 regular sized load. Also, taking a shower with my wife. not sure how much water that saves, but it's more fun
i dont drink water,... as w. c. fields said, fish f**k in it,.... so i dont drink it.... i prefer rum on the side of my dr pepper on ice,... ice being the only acceptable form of water to drink.
I take a single bath a day and installed low water toilets.

What do you do to reduce water when your house is already water efficient?California is just beginning to admit we are having a drought. There are towns in Northern California where the residents have been told they must reduce 20% of their water consumption. I don't think I have that much...

Much of what I read on the internet, newspaper and especially social network sites like Facebook is NEGATIVE. People often see to be complaining about something. I admit there is a lot about which we can and maybe even should coplain, but I would like to start a positive flow of thoughts and words....
