Is America standing in the way of peace between Israel/Palestine by refusing to accept UN resolution
Consistently Over the decades America has used it's veto to stop resolutions of the Israel/Palestine conflict, Now this week Obama made America an outcast by going against the majority of countries in committing itself to stopping UN recognition of a Palestinian Statehood ! Is America a nuisance in peace efforts?
Abbas wants Palestinian statehood but doesn't want to recognize Israel, what's peaceful about that? Obama did not make America an outcast. He did the right thing by declaring the veto. It's one of the few things that I agree with him and applaud.
You need to get you history up to date. The PLO recognises Israel along the 1967 borders. Even Hamas has said it will recognise Israel on the 1967 borders.
So you mean to tell me America is not an outcast even tho 90% of the world support statehood but America doesn't. What right has America to stop any nation being recognised ?

What would you say to Israel for refusing to go back to 1967 borders as "requested" by ObamaObama asked Israel to withdraw from occupied lands to the borders of 1967, and they refused. Israel continually disregards USA attempts at bringing peace to the Middle East and Palestine - If...
