What could be done to make the economy strong, grow and an example for the future?
The economy won't be strong until wages start to increase. However, salaries have increased for the mega-rich. This is mainly because of greed. So how do we take the greed out of the equation? The financial markets and banks have to be regulated to control greed and corruption. Deregualtion is what caused the financial melt-down. The other thing is jobs need to come back to this country. Multi-national corporations are like their own countries and are not loyal to any one country. All they care about is bottom line profit and labor at the lowest cost, no matter where the labor is performed. In my humble opinion, once these two factors are taken care, we will start to have a bright future and the economy will start to grow. Of course there are many more factors, but these are the two main ones that will move the economic needle forward.
Bring the jobs that have been outsourced back home. One way would be to give the returning companies the incentive with no taxes. And tax the heck out of the ones that continue to sell out all our manufacturing jobs.
This is a great question. The economy will only get better when we get our financial house in order by changing our government to a more fiscally responsible one. Another point to make is government needs to stop thinking they are the answer to every problem. Some problems need to be worked out by society not government.
The economy will also get stronger when confidence can be restored in the economy. When the rules seem to constantly change or new ones added it leads to uncertainty. Uncertainty in an economy keeps companies from hiring and expanding their business. Citizens need to have confidence that our problems will be properly addressed through proper actions.
The Economy is Failing and is Stagnat in its growth. What would help its survival? What will it take to get back to being prosperous? It is the gas and the high prices of energy to start! read more

With forum posts about the good and bad, mostly bad of Obama, Obama voters are constantly harassed by the question, "Are you sorry you voted for Obama." Honestly, no I am not. Look at our choices during the last presidential campaign. As I've stated before, giving what...
