That depends on who is running the country for the next four years.

I believe there will be a one world government by then. We have let our government destroy our country and this is what it has been all about, and no time to stop them now. We (or whoever is left) will by that time be so desperate that any answer will be OK. I don't think it matters who is running it, they all are crooks.

I'm praying to God we survive 10 more years. However, assuming we continue on this current path based on historical analysis should Obama be re-elected in 10 years US debt will be over 25 trillion dollars. Our spending will be over 190% of GDP regardless of how good the economy is fairing and frankly, economies, like companies and families do not fare well on crushing burdens of debt.

Currently Congress passes over 50 laws per year. That means there will be an additional 500 new laws. 50 new laws generates over 80 pages of regulations. Currently there are over 4,500 federal laws and approximately 300,000 regulations. In California, where I graduated college, there are laws prohibiting throwing a football on the beach because of "safety" issues.

To be honest Margie, this looks nothing like the country in which I was born into and the freedoms that Americans have freely given up, without so much as a wimper, over the past 40 years is stunning. The good news is -- things can be changed, but we need individuals with testicular fortitude, because this metro male thing just isn't working!

    You will have :

    no protected freedom of speech
    no religious freedom
    no free press
    you will have no arms
you will not be allowed free travel

you will not be allowed to raise your meat, or grow your veggies

you will PAY for every single thing that your neighbor has..............while you wonder what the hey happened, and why you just can't "make" it.............

Oh, wait.....................you asked me about 10 years from now..............

If you are allowed to travel the land............

you will see strip malls, restraunts, shipping plazas, travel stops, hotels.........many amenities.............but you will no longer see:

    America

gone are the neighborhoods, they have given way to apartment complexes and townhouses

Lowe's, Home Depot..............has choked to the very death..........Larry's Hardware

Ask a Wal Mart butcher for paper, so that your kids can color and create..........go on now, and do this,........they will deem you stupid...........but there was a time, when your LOCAL grocer.......understood, that kids color on walls and you need a means of protection

Go now, and ask your Discount Pharmacy.............If strep throat is contaigious, and one of my three children has it already, shouldn't I get MORE antibiotics?   My Grandmother did it, I did it, sometimes............YOU ( in 10 years never will).

The youngest among us will not know anything but this!   In 10 years.

This is really a thought provoking question. We are already a divided country and I never remember that division being so deep. The way people respond to this question will be in direct correlation with their political views and perhaps party affiliation.

Since when did teachers, higher education, equal rights, unions, the Environmental Protection Agency, poor and working class people, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and women's rights become the enemy?

If the wealthy continue with tax breaks and regulations on businesses are eased and jobs continue to be outsourced off shore and corporations continue to be considered "people," then it will be no surprise when we simply implode.

We have turned into a country without compromise. It is a "my way or the highway" mentality and without flexibility and negotiation I'm afraid we are all doomed.
