A friend in California that I talk to online. We mentor each other in projects, organizational ideas, writings, books to read, topics, education etc.

My spouse. He came along when I was a 19-year -old  mental case, and taught me that things can get better, that life, after all, is worth living.
He taught me to be more spiritual.
We married, had a family, built a life ,and were extremely happy.
I lost him last year and am still missing him and  his role in my life.
But I am still a better person for having known him.

My friend Pete Cusins, to whom I owe a great deal. I wrote about him here: http://tonymac04.hubpages.com/hub/Tribu … -the-years

I don't think I can name a best. Everyone you listed as examples have been extremely influential in my growth and development in one way or another.
