When will ALL people be accepted and respected regardless of race, religion, age, sexual

orientation(heterosexual or LBGT), disability, ethnicity, and political affilation instead of being constantly categorized?

Never, Human nature is to find fault in all things. Sad but true.

Never. There will always be haters in our society.  There will always be those who love to find fault in others without looking at themselves first.

The best answer I have is both cynical and hopeful. It's this:
When we discover intelligent extraterrestrial life.

I think this will either let us focus our xenophobia onto something other than our fellow human beings, or else give us incentive to not look like jerks to the rest of the universe.

I'm hoping for the second one.

Outstanding answer. I have a feeling the real ET in our maturation will be divine, rather than exo-planetary. Ego is the culprit. The antidote is humility and there ain't enough of that on Earth. But we can change that

Haile Selassie I said, “Until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned, everywhere is war and until there are no longer first-class and second-class citizens of any nation, until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes. And until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race, there is war. And until that day, the dream of lasting peace, world citizenship, rule of international morality, will remain but a fleeting illusion to be pursued, but never attained... now everywhere is war.”

That was his address to the United Nations in 1963 and I fully agree. Harmony is a fleeting illusion.

When there is no longer any ego.

Sadly, people cling to their ego as if it is their true self. It isn't. It is the blindfold placed over our spiritual eyes to bring us into darkness, depending on physical methods for perception and control (the human bodies we wear).

There is a group of power elite who use their money, their corporations (including the media) and influence (bought politicians) to feed divisiveness in America and around the world. They even have agents in war-torn countries dressing as locals to provoke more hostilities. A couple of British agents provocateur were arrested not long ago for doing just that.

Planned divisiveness performs a very sinister purpose that serves only the power elite. It creates turmoil to weaken all possible opposition and to allow their take over of critical resources.

Deliciously clever of them, but they've learned to play ego on a massive scale as one might direct a symphony.

Look how stealthily they demonized all who would question the official story of 9/11, when facts prove 9/11 was an inside job.

One Muslim physicist produced a video on YouTube that shows how the World Trade Center towers should each have fallen at a minimum 44 seconds if architects had build zero safety margin in the structures' supports. With greater safety margin, that minimum time would rise toward infinity (in other words, no collapse). And yet, the two towers fell in something like 10-12 seconds each. The physicist wasn't using anything fancy -- just simple, high school physics. No calculus. Just algebra.

The damage to both buildings was not symmetrical, and yet the collapse was. This just doesn't happen in the real world, unless there is controlled demolition.

Controlled demolition explains every anomaly. Jets crashing and office fires explain almost nothing. They were a distraction -- smoke and mirrors for the media.

    Controlled demolition proves inside job.

And yet ego has been played, across America, to delude the public into thinking that tyrannical legislation is "good for them." Perhaps not surprisingly, Hitler did the same thing, and look where that led Germany.

There will come a time when all people are accepted, but it will involve true spirituality (the highest "religion"), not the ego-riddled religion we find so much of on Earth.

I cannot give you a categorical answer to your question because there are millions of people in this world who have divergent embedded beliefs and attitudes. What is my entitled opinion may be castigated by the other, so a consensus might sound quixotic (sorry for being bigoted). But anyway, meritocracy can indeed treat everyone equally, but there will always be some loopholes. Utopia is not possible, but meritocracy is the only best political system to achieve what you express here.

Love your answer, Phillippe.  Also love your command of the English language and use of syntax and descriptive adjectives.
