If you were to create a time capsule, what would you put into it?

Perhaps I would have someone place my cold dead body in a time capsule and the words, "Coffin this is, because of an excess of  "coffin"

Interesting question.  I’m going to assume that this capsule will be opened by everyone in the future – not just my family.  A newspaper comes to mind, as long as the paper is protected from such a long period of time.  A kindle to show the digital version of paper books, etc.  A copy of the recent Pulitzer Prize winners.  Yet, all of these things are knowable in the future.  Perhaps something that shows what society values, and doesn’t value.  A TV Guide, for example.  Coins, a school yearbook, cell phone, photographs, to mention just a few.  It depends on how long this capsule will be buried.

I would like to place my writings into the time capsule. That would be my legacy.
