Do you think the $400 million paid to Iran was actually a ransom?
I do even know why we had to give Iran $4 much less $400 million dollars. I also heard that billions will follow this. The noise from the election is causing people to go deaf on this issue. There should be a congressional hearing on this, but everyone in congress is too busy campaigning. So this was a perfect time to float this one by.
Yes, it was, because the troops weren't allowed until after the money arrived.
And yes, it was done in violation of federal law - otherwise the Obama administration wouldn't have tried to hide the ransom payment.
