What do you think of Trump moving our Embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem?
Does it really matter where the embassy is, will relocating it make any change is Israel's behavior toward Palestine?
I do not know the mind of that boy therefore I will have to wait and see what happens before making a comment on the subject.
Long overdue, it will send a signal to the world that Jerusalem is the capital of ISRAEL and the propaganda of Hamas and Hezbollah will no longer sway Americas opinion.
By doing so he inciting the people of the region to rise up against America. The battle between Israel and Palestine has been going on for centuries we need not add undue pressure on the peace talks. Leave the Embassy where it is by moving it we could see another Benghazi
It is a good move. What many do not realize is that the city is set up to handle all who claim some heritage to it. If you visit you will see what I mean. Our moving to that place is symbolic of our recognition of all that live in that country -- not just Jews. Remember it is not our embassy to the middle east it is our embassy to Israel.
Israel is ready to move forward with solutions to the extremely tough Palestinian problem.
Perhaps with probable changes in our dealings with the UN we might get some practical help there other than condemnations of all sides.
One must remember that Palestine is not ready for self government. They fight among themselves, actually as much as with Israel. They cannot forge a government. As tiny as they are they really are in a civil war.
Yes moving the embassy to Jerusalem will bring us greater outreach in the area. And yes of course, if HRC were running the State Dept. we would see another Benghazi there and across the world.
I am ready for a war in the region. A bloodless economic attack. With destruction of ISIS we will see diminution of other terror groups. Forcing our allies into declaring an UN and Economic war we shall prevail in short order.
Excellent! Jerusalem is Israel's capital so it makes total sense that
it is should be there. I think the original reason they put the embassy
in Tel Aviv was because of Palestinian opposition to it placement
In Jerusalem. It is refreshing to Trump stand up to the Palestinian bias
in policy.
I think he's trying to force some sort of action that will lead to a resolution. For too long, the US has deliberately kept a policy of playing one side against the other between Palestine and Israel in order to keep the region unstable. New York City where Trump is from is practically a satellite to Israel and so in many ways, the billionaire-celebrity President Trump probably understands more about what's going on there than our usual politicians. Naturally there are some academics in the US who are experts on the subject. But they're often too much in a revolving door with the intelligence community and national security establishment to ever tell the truth. And politicians know absolutely nothing other than what the national security folks tell them. President Trump has a fresh set of eyes with a unique perspective.
That could be a possibility, for sure, in time we will know.
It somehow made me glad when he basically said that the briefings would go through a filter. Bush totally relied on them as did the fools that got us involved Nam and the idiots involved with Libya and Black Hawk down fame. Motivations trusted?

How does moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and declaring it the Capital of Israel create peace in the region?

I’ll admit I can’t keep up with all of Trump’s proposals. During tonight’s press conference with Netanyahu, Trump suggested that the U.S. take control of Gaza, rebuild it, and transform it into a peaceful place where anyone could live. As for the 1.8 million Palestinians currently there, he...

What is the truth of Israel and its founding? Are those Palistinians of today, really the Palistinians of yester-year?"Zionists stole Palestinian land: That’s the mantra both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas teach their children and propagate in their media. This claim has vast importance,...

First, let me say that I support Israel's right to exist, always have and always will. I also support Palestine's right to exist as well.Let me also say that the Donald Trump of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, is trying to destroy everything that Israel stands for. His one-state solution...
