ALARMING **** "Harley-Davidson Profit Is Wiped Out by President Trump’s Tariffs": Bozo Trump's Ignorance. Incompetence and Severely Limited working knowledge of "ECONOMICS" is savaging our once great economy: Donald's INSANE Tariffs which are essentially a Massive TAX on ALL Americans who buy consumer goods, Wiped OUT our farmers and now these crazy taxes are WIPING Out our JOBS:

You'll also not be too surprised that the DOL report last week is typical Trump tripe.

If you heard the NPR review of that DOL report and the review by 4 former DOL experts Dem and Republican, you'd have heard them clarify that the only jobs created were in medical and construction.

Retail job growth increased by only 12,000.

The growth in Medical jobs is due to Trump's failure to fully repeal the ACA. And those jobs in construction include pipeline jobs.

When that "glowing" report on unemployment claimed it was at "only 3.2%, that's where it's been for over a decade.

The devil is always in the details with Trump who must always make himself look good.

Where did you get your stats for unemployment rate for the last ten years?
Because the information I have found, doesn't support your statement.

I really don't know who you are or where you're posting from, but just FYI, Ewent is well known around here for posting FACT Based Comments: Her integrity is solid and she always makes good sense: Donald Trump cares about Donald Trump PERIOD and everyone except his last remaining followers understand this and that's why 56% of American have already VOWED NEVER to vote for him again as if that's a surprise, if of course he manages to evade prison and is allowed to run in 2020:

And Ewent is absolutely correct,  Donald's and Republicans FAILURE to Sabotage our HealthCARE System is a primary reason WHY Jobs in the medical field are growing: We can thank great American Hero John McCain for OBSTRUCTING Bozo Trump's mad efforts to STRIP Millions of their HealthCARE by trying to repeal ObamaCARE ACA: Thank GOD for heroes like McCain but unfortunately, he couldn't save our farmers or Harley Davidson from Trump's Massive Tax Increase which according to press releases, wiped out their profits:

The data I have seen indicates that while there has been a continuous downward trend in unemployment rates for almost 10 years, the rate itself has never reached 3.6% in that time.

I have not seen any claim of unemployment rates being 3.2%

Despite Donald's incredible ignorance, of economics and what actually stimulates the economy, and despite his sabotaging efforts by RAISING Taxes on ALL Americans with his insane Tariff Wars which has decimated our farmers and various other business industries, President Obama's Job Growth Rate STILL looks pretty good in certain sectors that have yet to feel the massive detrimental IMPACT of Trump's Madness::

Your link implies that the losses are due to the company's inability to attract new buyers and levies by the EU. That article seems to say that the losses are due to declining sales, not tariffs. Not to say that tariffs aren't playing a part, but the overall cause seems to stem from loss of sales across the board.

You obviously support Trump's tariffs when no one in the country does. Least of all Wall Street. The Dow was down this past week 800 points. The lowest it has been in 17 years.

The stupidity of Trump's tariffs are that he has no idea what in the blue hell they really are. It isn't the exporter who pays the tariffs on imported goods. It's the importer.

If China ever called in all of what the US owes, say goodbye to your assets.

Trump's tariffs have already enraged the farmers and ranchers who say they are losing millions.

Tme to leave Trump fantasy land behind.

How do you go from a simple statement of fact, as reported by others, to approving of tariffs?  The same way you get that the stock market is the lowest it's been in 17 years (you might want to check just a years ago, when it was lower than it is now).

Hi Ewent: And to add to Bloomberg's Sentiment,  a NEWSWEEK Contributor  appeared on MSNBC about a week ago and essentially said the following in paraphrase after the release of that DAMNING NYT investigative report that just tore the lid of Donny's little con, revealing he LOST over 1 Billion Dollars over the course of 9 to 10 years:

"By now, if you don't know you're being CONNED by Donald trump then you're the MARK"

That pretty much says it all and this circus clown was actually on television just yesterday BABBLING about how his INSANE Trade War Tariffs which we must assume by now he has NO CLUE about, will BENEFIT Farmers !! YES he actually said that with a straight orange face while our farmers are PLUMMETING into Bankruptcy: UNREAL:

Back in May last year, the State University of New York's Rockefeller Institute of Government produced a report on the states that take the most from the federal taxes we all pay.

The report stated that 5 all Republican states are the "moochers" who get the most from the federal government. They are in order of amounts of federal taxes they receive:
                    1. New Mexico
                    2. Mississippi
                    3. West Virginia
                    4. Alabama
                    5. Kentucky

The report also stated that there are 34 other states that are mostly Republican who are also moocher states and only 13 Dem states support the others.

For example, New Mexico gets $2.21 for the $1 they pay in federal taxes.
Mississippi gets $2.13, West Virginia gets $2.07, AL $1.93 and KY $1.90.

But when Trump gets support from these states, the more shocking fact is  the devil in the details his economic report doesn't state:
New Mexico gets 79% of its Medicaid from federal taxes according to the Kaiser Family Foundation.

The US average on this is 63%.

Now take a look at MS which has the largest percentage of residents on food stamps at 22% or 650,911.

WVA? has the highest percentage in the country n Social Security according to the last Motley Fool report

AL? has the largest number in the US collecting SSDI according to their own State SS director.

KY (McConnell and Rand Paul's state) also has a higher than average number on welfare, SSDI and food stamps. It's why they keep McConnell and Rand Paul in office so these 2 can use parliamentary maneuvers to keep our donor states flooding KY with our federal tax dollars.

It isn't 3.6%. It is 3.2% and you can go to any site but the fed DOL to get the reasons why it isn't 3.6%.

As I posted, the jobs report reflects typical Trump tripe by using "selective" data. Jobs in retail is down under Trump by 12,000 jobs.

And you prove to yourself why it isn't 3.6% because for nearly 2 decades Republicans have YET to come up with any jobs creation. You prove to yourself that any changes are due to Obama and not Trump.

Now, facts you won't like. Trump consistently hires and so does his daughter Ivanka, cheap foreign labor, mainly in China. As such that means all of that labor is a LOSS to American workers.

Where is the Republican job creation program? There is NONE. Since we all know Trump spends every dawn tweeting, how much recruiting for jobs can we attribute to HIM?

Your support does not count as a source.

And the comment does not support the published facts.

Which is why I asked for sources.

And FYI, I am from the US...Virginia to be exact...and I tend to look at all sides of the information provided versus being lead blindly around by my ear...

Your data doesn't support facts. Admit it There is NO Republican jobs creation program, Trumps never hire Americans for retail or manufacturing jobs AND those Trump hires are undocumented workers as in Trump Tower, Trump hotels and casinos.

I agree Ewent: How on Earth could anyone believe anything that spews from  this white house considering many positions have still not been filled because we assume nobody with any smarts and credibility would even think of working for this clown and Donny Boy has stacked the positions he did manage to fill with LIARS, Cheats and Unqualified Idiots and or Radical CONservative Nuts: I wonder if Vladimir Putin instructed him to do so??:

We do know one thing though, it appears as if Donny is doing everything he possibly can to DERAIL President Obama's once GREAT Economy and it seems to be working, Americans and FARMERS Going Bankrupt at alarming rates

"Midwest farmers going broke at record rates thanks to Trump's trade war"

"Bankruptcies have doubled in the biggest farm states, with falling prices and the trade war largely to blame"

Shrikant6989: Even the Mueller Report re-affirmed what we already knew, CNN. MSNBC, BBC, CSPAN, Bloomberg and many others in the mainstream are extremely reliable NEWS Sources: They do make mistakes on occasion like we all do, but they correct said mistakes when applicable:

In contrast, many major social media sites are now BANNING the "alt right nationalist" outlets for their unbridled Hate and Propaganda which has no place in society:
