Now that Trump has been acquitted, what lessons have been taught? Has the acquittal of Trump set a precedent? Do you believe that Trump was justly acquitted? Why? Why not?
We all learned a lesson from his acquittal today, Grace. Trump fired the much decorated Lt. Col Vindman for doing his duty by telling the truth. What a wonderful thing to do! What does this tell our country when a veteran can be treated like this?
I think we learned that courage is almost dead in the GOP and that Trump supporters would cheer if Trump shot someone on Fifth Avenue.
I once thought this was simply hyperbole, but after discussing his admin with his rabid supporters here and elsewhere, I've come to the conclusion you're correct, Sandy.
Today's shameful firing of Vindman and smearing his excellent name should be embarrassing for everyone with a sense of right and wrong. This apparently doesn't include his enablers, unfortunately.
I'm afraid too many people have forsaken their sense of right and wrong in favor of, in their mnds, protecting "their" America. And I think we both know what that really means.

They were wrong. They should admit they were wrong. We will forgive them for their ignorance even though we warned them.
