Bevelyn Beatty, Saint or Satan?

    During this historic time, we have seen many people come to the forefront of history. One of these individuals is Bevelyn Beatty. Beatty is an African American woman who has voiced her disapproval of the Black Lives Matter Movement, voiced her disapproval over LGBTQ+ individuals being given the same rights as traditional couples, and has stated that other religions are wrong and Christianity is the only valid way to worship. Beatty has been seen a lot in the news for painting over the BLM street mural, refusing to wear a mask, and being pro-Trump for the year 2020. Many people criticize Beatty for hating herself as a Black woman because she is against the Black Lives Matter Movement, while White Conservatives praise her for standing up for the Silent Majority.

    Personally I am not a big fan of Beatty because she uses her religious beliefs to spread hate and exclusion. She criticizes LGBTQ+ Christians for being "frauds" because they chose a life of "sin." She also has stated in one of her interviews that children of an LGBTQ+ couple will come out being a little "messed up in the head." Her attack on those who are different are wrong and should not go unpunished.
