At the dismay of some of my family members, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has officially announced that he not only plans to vote for Biden this coming election, but he endorses both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

This of course upset a lot of my family, as they been boasting for the past few months about how they thought he was a Trump supporter and etc, even though I did try to warn them that he has supported Black Lives Matter in the past, so I was never convinced he was a Trump supporter.  But, my family never listens to me, so I just allowed them to think that when they dismissed my first attempt to try to tell them that Dwayne may not be a Trump supporter.

Welp, now it's official.  Not only is it revealed that he's not a Trump supporter, but it seems he's endorsing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this year's presidential election.  Personally, I can't say I'm surprised considering most Hollywood actors are left leaning anyways, and he's supported Black Lives Matter in the past, so it was kind of obvious he was going to vote democratic this year...at least to me it was anyways.

What are your thoughts about this?  Do you care?  Do you not care?  Or do you have something else you'd like to add to this?  Please discuss.

It really is not surprising, because those who excel at illusion do not deal well reality.

lol   Well he's entitled to his opinion.  At least, he's not a jackass about it like LeBron James is.  God I hate that guy.

Well, he was a registered Republican, didnt vote in 2016 and went independent. I dont know how could some thought he was a Trump supporter.  Btw, not an uncommon thing since the party moved to the right.

Anyway, he has the right to voice his opinion. Good for him.

Well even still, I figured he'd most likely vote for Biden this year considering he has supported black lives matter before, and he did delay the launch of his sneakers by Under Armour in light of the Jacob Blake shooting, so I figured this would happen.   Personally, I'm more interested to know what's going on with his "Black Adam" film than I am about who he's voting for.

I hope it does well because I loved Shazam and want to see the inevitable Black Adam vs Superman, and Black Adam vs Shazam fights that Dwayne keeps boasting is going to happen.

      Yeah, so...

I think that Trump "sucks" in everyway, so I cannot really offer an unbiased opinion as to a celebrity's choice.

I come to my conclusions about candidates and political parties based upon my own scale of values. I care no more about "The Rock's' opinion anymore than I would Laura Ingram's.

It won't change my opinion regarding Trump and the Republicans one iota.

I think its interesting how multi-millionaire on top of their venue "stars" like to come out and support unpopular Political candidates... alienating a percentage of their fanbase in the process.

It really helps set the tone of 'class warfare' and 'elitist viewpoints'.

Trump may be an arse, but until the world shut down over Covid, more Americans were employed (and getting raises) than anytime in the last 20 years.

THAT is what is the most important thing to Americans... not BLM... not Antifa... not Political Correctness... having the money to care for one's family, having a purpose in life, a sense of hope that they can achieve their goals.  Not free handouts... not Open Borders.

The filthy rich (Hollywood Stars and Sports Athletes) and the elites that control DC and our Propaganda News sources don't get that... or they don't care.

When you have hundreds of Millions in the bank and millions of fans adoring you, and access to everything you want from steroids to sex, what the heck do you know about what Americans need or what's best for them?

      Not a damned thing.

I am not influenced at all by celebrity endorsements. I enjoy Dwayne Johhson, though. He has an easy way about him, seems to be quite bright, and is nice to look at. ;-).

Dwayne Johnson seems like a funny guy, with a bright career ahead of him.  I can't wait to see him as Black Adam eventually.  smile

I don't enjoy The Rock's acting because I respect his intellect. He's a funny guy who is apparently not too bright.

I'm just wondering what's going to happen with the XFL, as he does own that league now.  And it seems most sports leagues that support Biden have gone full woke, so I'm curious to see if the XFL will do the same now or not.
