President Joe Biden once again broke his campaign commitment to keep the Department of Justice (DOJ) non-political, critics say, calling Attorney General Merrick Garland's latest directive to the FBI to investigate "threats of violence" at school board meetings a clear move to "politicize the DOJ."
Many parents across the country are showing up at School Board meetings to protest, and voice their displeasure against several of what they feel are problems, such as mandatory masks, critical race theory being taught, and in California mandatory vaccinations for Children K -12.
"The Department of Justice will mobilize the FBI in response to a spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school board members across the country.
In a memorandum released Monday evening, Attorney General Merrick Garland directed the FBI and U.S. attorneys' offices to meet in the next 30 days with federal, state, and local law enforcement leaders to outline strategies for addressing the incidents, which have become more frequent and more volatile in recent months.
"Threats against public servants are not only illegal, but they also run counter to our nation's core values," Garland wrote in a memorandum released Monday evening. "Those who dedicate their time and energy to ensuring that our children receive a proper education in a safe environment deserve to be able to do their work without fear for their safety."
The announcement comes just days after the group representing the country's school boards wrote to President Joe Biden to plead for federal assistance in responding to mounting threats and violence that they likened to domestic terrorism against school board members related to their decisions on COVID-19 school safety policies, critical race theory and more."
Last I knew if someone was breaking the law in any respect one can call the local police...and hash it out with law officers on whether a law was broken.
I note in all the articles I have read, there is no real crime pointed out against someone with a face, a name. The articles talk about threats but list none... They talk about violence, but I note no arrests for violence. Looks like Biden feels as many democrats do. First, accuse then try to drum up evidence. I have viewed a video where a man was being dragged out of a meeting and putting up a scuffle.
Since when does the Federal Government have the right to step into a state's civil policing?
In my opinion, Biden is clearly using the DOJ as a tactic to threaten citizens that hope to be engaged in what their children are learning, and are being forced to do if they want to attend school. The Government has no place in our state-run schools. This latest ploy of Biden could certainly appear as a threat tactic. Possibly and most likely meant to scare parents from being involved in their children's education, and the hours they are left in the care of teachers.
Simply put --- In my view, Biden is using the DOJ to promote his far-left socialist agenda and this kind of overreach puts our Democracy in danger.
So, how much is too much, when it comes to Government overreach?
You're joking with this thread, right?
First AB defends domestic terrorists from January 6, now you criticize people trying to prevent violent threats to educators.
Do you guys even hear yourselves?

Biden once again uses the DOJ to interject on the right of a state to have sovereignty. Abortion is a hot political topic, and this interference of the DOJ shows clear partisan behavior. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit late Thursday rejected the Justice Department's request to...

Here once again Biden stands at a podium swings around his hands, and rants, seeking and appoint blame on American citizens, ultimately Republican citizens. Without cause, without proof of the motive of why or what possessed this nut job that attacked Paul Pelosi. Although in front of only a...

It was interesting to note a recent Supreme Court ruling:“On the self-executing issue, the unsigned majority “per curiam” decision is not merely evasion, but error. It rewrites Section 5 of the 14th Amendment. Where the section says that Congress may enact legislation to enforce the amendment, the...
