Please note, this is an opinion piece.

In my view, Looking back on 2022, the Biden presidency offered much more than confusing lies and multiple failures.  President Biden has been a resounding failure as commander-in-chief, with his words and deeds ranging from the very comical to downright embarrassing.

As we head into a new year, we can look back on a year of Biden's failures, none so more significant as Biden's failed U.S. economy, and the bleak prospect economist offer of what is to come in the coming year.  Are we headed for a recession?   It would seem many top economists expect one, warning Americans that inflation will remain sky-high while economic growth continues to be virtually nonexistent.  In states like California and Pennsylvania, gas prices still hover around or exceed $4.40 per gallon, and in the last few days, the gas process is rising again. One only needs to consider food prices and the fact that they continue to rise. The price of eggs, for example, has increased  49%, over the last months.  https://gasprices.aaa.com/?state=CA

Americans across the socioeconomic spectrum are struggling, with wallet issues still top of mind. In fact, almost two-thirds of Americans now live from paycheck to paycheck — up from 60% in October, and  37.9 million people are in poverty in America.  The high cost of living is understandably the greatest concern among voters and taxpayers, and current polls show most Americans blame Mr. Biden for their financial woes.
    https://www.census.gov/newsroom/stories … le%20A%2D1).

Please don’t take my word for it.  Biden’s approval rating remains below the 40% mark. Citizens are angry and frustrated due to the failing economy.  This could be a reason why  Republicans won the popular vote by about 5 percentage points in the 2022 midterms.

Inflation is just one problem. Issue after issue, Biden receives failing marks. Take illegal immigration, which is essentially at its highest level ever. Yes, America has never witnessed anything that could come close to the numbers of migrants that have walked unabated into the Country across our Southern border. As drugs pour in fentanyl has become the leading killer of Americans between the ages of 18 and 49.
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/investig … l-failure/

In fiscal 2022, Border Patrol encounters with those who entered the U.S. illegally reached nearly 2.8 million — up from under 650,000 in former President Donald Trump’s last year of office. In Biden's two years in office, we now have over 5 million known illegal migrants in America, with over a million got aways. 130,000 unaccompanied migrant children entered the U.S. shelter system in 2022. We had 140,230 unaccompanied children walk across our border in 2021... Yet we have a president that takes the attitude that all is well at the border, look here not there, believe this not that. He does not address the ongoing problem at all...
    https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/stats/cbp- … statistics

It is very clear,  Biden officials live in denial, with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claiming that the border isn’t “open.”   Biden himself refuses to visit the U.S.-Mexico border, hoping for illegal immigrants to go away by themselves magically.   The president recently met with Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso to discuss non-immigration-related issues, and suggested that “we’ve made historic strides on migration.” He’s right,  Biden has made history, but for all the wrong reasons. Today it's being reported we have for the last week had about 7,000 migrants cross our borders, another history-making moment for Biden.

Let us not forget the Biden administration’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal, which has now drawn a congressional investigation into the 13 Americans left dead and hundreds more left behind. White House officials are now in the business of obstructing investigators who are seeking accountability and transparency over the Afghanistan debacle.   And yet we are met with more lies. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby recently claimed that the likes of China can only “marvel” at the “efficiency” and “effectiveness” of the withdrawal, despite the fact that the Chinese Communist Party has leveraged that same withdrawal to paint the United States as an unreliable global partner and a nation in decline.

Mr. Biden’s failures, lies, and cognitive inabilities are so egregious that our enemies use them as national rallying cries.  But don't fret,  according to Joe Biden,  his presidency has been a whopping success. The administration is “celebrating” its supposed accomplishments this very holiday season, regardless of the countless problems that remain ignored, and unsolved. In my view,  the liberal media looks at it: “Biden plans to seize the opportunity to showcase that he, in the White House’s view, has gotten more done in two years than any president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt.”  Biden's confused state becomes more obvious every day.

To share their glee the  Biden administration has created the “Biden-Harris Record” website, highlighting the policy “wins” of this White House. Leading header on the website  you will find this --  “Lowering costs of families’ everyday expenses.” Yes, you read correctly. I hope some will visit the site, but be very prepared to be aggravated by all the crazy you will find.
    https://www.whitehouse.gov/therecord/
You won't see any mention of the proxy war we are now supporting against Russia, or the fact his administration has us now more dependent on foreign nations for our energy. Or will you find the cost he has laid on the Nation with his many spending bills?

Oh, to live in Joe's fantasyland. You at least have to give him credit for the unearned confidence, and the blatant way he lies without batting an eye.   Biden's failures are many, too many that can be listed here.

While Democrats celebrate, and pat themselves on the back, many Americans are left picking up the pieces from their failed promises, and policies, hoping for better days ahead. In my view, those days won’t come in 2023, but there is a chance that  2024 will bring the change of leadership that Americans so desperately need.

    Thoughts, views, concerns.

And to think 80 million people voted for this worthless decadent criminal POS. It goes to show you the very low morals and standards of those 80 million who voted for him.

Happy New Year! Yes, it makes one really think how 80 million could vote for this very confused man. He is certainly ruining the country.

They voted for Biden because they don't want Trump.  All they wanted was to get Trump out of office.

A long list of Biden's "accomplishments".  Unfortunately, while he did manage to "accomplish" them, they are almost all harmful to the country and/or infringe deeply on state's rights.

Nevertheless it is the kind of thing being touted as great things Biden has done.

Yes, I have seen that list, as well as the one he offers on the Biden /Harris website. I am afraid it all lands on deaf ears with me. We will see the fallout from this man for many years or until all his crap can be canned.

What President has ever kept more than 25% of their promises? . People  fall for their dishonesty all the time. Gee, if I break just break one promise, then  my business is done. Or it takes many good deeds and jobs through the years to make up for it.
          So, it's forget the politicians.

As far as I'm concerned, politicians make no promises at all.  At best their words can only be viewed as sounds designed and intended to produce a vote for them; never as a promise to do something.

The intent of a promise, the definition, the ethics of a promise; none are present in a politicians speech.

Yes, many lie about their agenda and their pasts. They even lie knowing that they will be caught by our ever-growing highway of facts --- the internet. They don't care, they figure a percent will believe their lies and be very satisfied to believe their lies. And much of the media will protect the lies at any cost.

Biden is the greatest liar I've ever heard on film in there with Trudeau. Probably the greatest lying president in US history.

Biden is so good at creating fiction, not to mention utter chaos.  Well, those who voted for Biden are getting what they want.  Unfortunately, the rest of us are also getting it.  Because of Biden, food prices are increasing & there is a SHORTAGE of the essential.  One woman is complaining about food prices, I said blame it on Biden!  Under Trump, there were NO ISSUES with food prices at all.  Everything was copasetic.

This administration does nothing but puts up smoke screens --- "hey you look here Fox is being sued". When we have a president that is bankrupting the country and causing an unrepairable divide. If one would stop spinning and look around, America is in trouble. And we have an administration that is inept to handle any form of trouble.

We have Democrats not seeing the problems, we have many republicans just up on their high horses, not dealing with the more serious problems.

We have average citizens that are suffering, and going unnoticed. We are in trouble.

Yes, we are IN DEEP TROUBLE.  Remember, there were THOSE who voted for Biden.  They refuse to see that Biden was totally incompetent.  Trump was far from incompetent; however he was hated(don't know why).  Well, those voters are getting what they rightfully deserve. Unfortunately, the rest of us are suffering too.

So agree, I hope in the 2024 election citizens will take time to really look into the history of the candidates. Biden just had a history that truly showed the same we are seeing from him today. He was a follower, never a dower, he would tell his audience anything they wanted to hear --- like yesterday telling the Polish President he grew up in a Polish neighborhood, as a few months ago told a Puerto Rican audience he grew up in a Puerto Rican neighborhood. He claimed to be all about civil rights --- I need not go there, as his VP shared with him --- "I was one of the little girls on the bus". And actually trying to can social security 4 times... He is phony, he is dishonest to the bone. And in my view, he has little intelligence. I mean he totally lied about his eduction too...

He makes problems, and can't solve the problems he creates. I always ask -- what's next? We can be assured it will be a bigger problem than whatever was last.
