yes, this rape case has been going on for some time. In 2019  Ms. Carroll claimed in court papers and in a 2019 memoir that Mr. Trump maneuvered her into a dressing room in the lingerie department, on the pretense that he was shopping for a girlfriend, then groped and raped her. He has vehemently denied the allegations, saying that she was “not his type.

Sep 27, 2022 — A federal appeals court set aside a judge's ruling that Donald Trump could be sued for defamation by E. Jean Carroll after denying he raped ...

In late 2022, Carroll was allowed to sue Trump for battery after New York's Adult Survivors Act, which allows adult survivors of sexual violence to sue over attacks that occurred decades ago, went into effect.

The trial will actually include Carroll's defamation and sexual assault lawsuits, which Trump has attempted to dismiss.

Today she is in civil court suing  Trump for defamation, and sexual assault Ms. Carroll is now in the middle of her court case before a jury.

It will be very interesting to see the verdict, there was no true physical evidence presented. This decision will hinge on his word against her word.

As the trial is a civil, rather than a criminal, case there is no prospect of Trump facing any jail time.  Carrol could be rewarded many millions of dollars in damages.

In my view --- she will win. This case is being held in a New York court.

Not only is it in New York, it is guilty by a preponderance of the evidence, not beyond a reasonable doubt.  I understand the plaintiff will produce 2 witness that she told about the supposed rape; that makes it 3 to 1.  Couple that with being in NY, and yes, Trump will lose.  "Me too!" is alive and well, particularly when it comes to costing Trump something.  It will be interesting to see how they figure damages.  How do you assess "pain and suffering" when it wasn't worthy of reporting to police?

(Want to be there won't be more of the same when he loses?)

I agree, I really don't buy this coming forward decades later and accusing someone of a crime. I mean could I do the same to  --- any man?

Confusion reigns in the mind of the person you refer to as the "old Canadian."

By "trail" do you mean trial?

By "caword" do you mean coward?

By "Presient" do you mean President?

And, by "When will America give ex-Presient Trump some real breath?" What do you mean?
