Yesterday, at a press conference for farmer's, and in response to Nancy Pelosi, Trump felt the need to point out again that he is a "stable genius".

    I have some questions:

    1. Do you think Trump is a genius?
    2. If you were a genius, do you think you'd ever need to mention it to anyone else? Wouldn't people just know?
    3. If you were a genius, why would you ever have to qualify your intelligence with the word "stable"?
    4. If you're a citizen, does having your leader insist that he's a "stable genius" make you confident or nervous?

Did you see the doctored video the Stable Genius and the WH engineered of Nancy Pelosi? It qualifies as libelous. Facebook took it down. He's a "stable genius", all right. A real Jackass.

If I were Nancy, I would file a defamation of character suit against Trump.  It would be very easy to prove with the two videos side-by-side.  That could add to his high crimes and misdemeanors path he is taking.  It is conduct unbecoming a president.

PP73, I learned a lot about slander and libel in journalism school. There are 3 categories of this type of lawsuit:  1. private citizen, 2. public figure, and 3. politician. Truth is the only defense. Private citizens have the best chance of winning if they can prove that they were harmed by a defamation of character, public figures have a harder time, but not impossible, but politicians have the most difficult time of all proving that they were harmed. My personal opinion is that it is because there is so much mud-slinging anyway, and they usually put themselves in a position to be hit.

I just made an untrue statement, but unlike some people we know, I am back to correct it. It was YouTube that took down the video, not Facebook. Facebook said that it did not violate their policies. That says a lot about Facebook, doesn't it?

The only thing stable about trump is where he should be kept.

"Before President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met at their historical summits, they lobbed attacks at each other through speeches and social media, with Kim calling Trump a “mentally deranged U.S. dotard” and Trump calling Kim “a madman” and “Little Rocket Man.” Now they “agree” on an assessment of Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden as a “low IQ” person."

Gee, how childish can you get?

THIS is the leader of the free world?

Norman Lear could not have created a funnier sitcom.....

Growing up in the black community, such exchanges were called " doing the dozens". The only point is that once you get out junior high, it falls out of favor

Credence, are you saying Trump isn't a stable genius? I'm surprised at you.  smile

Yeah, I guess I am saying that. It is pretty trashy for him to boast that both him and Kim use childish name calling against a political rival.

And conservatives think that this man is some sort of messiah, they have their bar pretty low.

There is so little to redeem this man from the standpoint of anybody having any common sense.

He is a genius of destruction, that is for sure.
As far as stable, you would have to ask the 100s psychiatrist's who have come forth and offered their volunteer advice. Of course no Goverment would allow that, in their rightious evil minds.

Is it normal for stable geniuses who are also President of the United States  to pin fake videos slandering a top elected official to the top of their Twitter feed?

Oh, never mind.  It's no worse than parading his aides one by one on camera to unctuously support his claim that he was perfectly calm during a meeting.

All perfectly normal behavior, especially for a leader.  Nothing to see here.

He does make his voters proud when he does things like that, Pretty. Sad to say...

It's like what Comey said about Trump, "He eats the souls in small bites of those around him."  He gets them to stay stupid stuff about how great he is and then get in deeper each time they support his nonsense, until he has them hooked.

We see the same from his supporters, Mike. They're in too deep to ever make it back to shore...

Yeah, what's going to happen to his voters if he gets his just desserts? How will they get their "Trump fix?"

What I am afraid of is, Trump knows how to work the Electoral College state votes to his advantage.  That is how he got elected.  The Democrats are focused on their platforms and agendas.  But when it comes down to the wire all the person needs to get elected is 270 EC votes. At that point, it doesn't matter about the popular vote.  Trump's base are in those states and he plays them like a fiddle with everyone of his rallies. The Dems should be focused on getting those voters on their side.

Exactly. We now have the minority controlling the majority through the Electoral College. It was set up to prevent just that. The people are getting tired of that. I shudder to think what may happen if this keeps up.
