How many discussions have we had in this forum about this subject? The virus itself, the shot, the mandates, the disruption....
Check out the following interview. It is eye-opening. I will leave it here for now:

Note: I see the OP was moved to here. So, I am copy/pasting what I wrote at the original OP.

      ********************
Off topic, Tucker's facial expressions have always cracked me up. I wonder how long before a mirror he practices them to get them just right.

First, it is only the first seventeen minutes of the 2 hour YouTube video that the conversation occurs with Florida Surgeon General, Joseph Ladapo.

An interesting perspective that gives me somewhat of a concern to at least investigate further. I see back in Jan article after article about his proclamation seen at the link next of a Google landing page of those articles.

      https://www.google.com/search?client=fi … na+vaccine

As I see it it comes down to the same thing as the original time when the vaccines were being pushed. Who and/or what to believe. That traverses some 258 million view points, opinions, and decisions that were made on any of the elements of covid and if to take the jab.

Me personally, I have had the shingles vaccine, I get an annual flu shot, I get a pneumonia vaccine, and I got the RSV vaccine as well as the Moderna series for covid. Why? Because I have COPD and emphysema and over 65. The only one I have researched or seen any anti~ about is the covid mrna vaccines.

In my opinion, take it as you wish, I think the hoopla for the negativity for it boils down to it was mandated in different settings. For an analogy it is the same principle as the resistance to seat belt or motorcycle helmet laws. That those laws were an infringement on individual liberty. I can go along with that, as I was against them at one time too. But, I have a different perspective today. I am in favor of them.

Likewise; because of my age I've had the pneumonia vaccine, and I get the annual flu and covid vaccines.

Yes, I mistakenly posted in the wrong place and it was immediately brought to my attention. I am pretty sure that after a dozen+ years here at HP, I am still hated by a few. Hasn't stopped me yet!

I pray that everyone....whatever their personal reasons for receiving the vaccine, remain safe in all aspects of their lives. I told you so's fall short and that's
not what this is about, we are in a whole new realm now!

P.S. The illustration utilized may seem a little harsh, BUT the tactics used to get everyone to comply were harsh.

The covid-19 vacine jab again?                                           We do had a lenghly general discussion some 2 years ago here.                                Like anyone else, I had my modena shot, and booster, and had a slight head and fever. No more. And am still healthy.                                        No matter how educated one is, and they can't see something good at times.

I, personally, thought this video, which includes new information, needed to be shared. Watch the video OR don't  watch the video......

    Boo.
    YouTube took it down.
I am sure it can be found with some digging.

  5. abwilliams profile image74
    abwilliamsposted 18 months ago

....and, as an after thought, perhaps the discussion now becomes, why did YouTube take it down? Why can't we watch it, if we CHOOSE to and come to our own conclusions?

YouTube didn't take it down. The poster did. At least that is my interpretation. The message given is:

      Video unavailable
This video has been removed by the uploader

If that's the case, one should be able to find it, without much problem. I couldn't, (once the one I initially shared was taken down) Maybe, I didn’t invest enougn time.

What? Is youtube afraid of something?

Internet social media platforms have a legal duty under EU & UK laws to take responsibility for removing content that can cause harm to others; and YouTube takes that responsibility seriously.

When I realized the COVID vaccine didn't prevent you from getting COVID or prevent you from passing it on...I determined it was pretty useless as a vaccine.

I didn't take it.  There was actually a move in the government to cut services to veterans who didn't get vaccinated.  I would have accepted that and done without them.

I don't care about the vaccine.  How the government and those in power chose to force a vaccine on people that was worthless is what makes me really angry.

I completely agree Mike!  I am still angry.  Government overreach and mandates took it too far! Mandates turned people's lives upside down; careers/livelihoods were destroyed. Pre-schoolers were set back in speech development and social skills. School aged children were set back in all aspects of life! Non-vaxxers were treated as if they (we) were lepers. Many of the sick and elderly left this earth ALONE....they were PROTECTED to death!! And for what?

Thousands of people were discharged from the military.  Their only offense is they didn't take the vaccine.  These were people the United States government had spent quite a bit of money training, feeding, and providing a career.  They were good at their jobs.  They just didn't want to take a worthless vaccine.

NOW...the military had reached out to these people they unceremoniously discharged for no valid reason and say they can come back.

Less than five percent have returned.

This makes me worried for our military.  I don't know who made that decision but THEY are the ones who should be discharged.

          Conspiracy Theory alert.

Those that refused the jab are made up of the type of individualistic personality most likely to refuse illegal or immoral orders.

The effort to LGBTQ the military also had its deterrents to those most likely to identify as patriotic and/or nationalistic, what some consider today to be part of the domestic terrorist profile the Biden Administration is so concerned about.

Post 2024, after Biden has been 're-elected' (or Harris inserted), they will resume the idea of citizenship through military service for migrants.  The money to entice this entry would make most Americans want to join, but it won't be available to American citizens.

The importance of having a very Progressive Officer corps, that doesn't have many moral hangups, combined with non-American-citizens making up of the majority of the combat MOS fields should be apparent.

Through this the Military Force becomes biased, politically motivated, and less likely to balk when deployed directly against American citizens.

By 2030 there will be only half as many police departments as in 2020 (various State legislation efforts have hurried this along).

Fewer police will be hired, agencies will be more selective. The majority of States have passed laws requiring all police officers to have at least a two-year degree, and for all supervisors to have four-year degrees.  This trend will continue... what do we have our Universities churning out today?

Outside of the "it serves them right" crowd....aka: the left, I think it is fair to say that we are all worried!
I understand, our finest warriors, members of the military who did not want to "take a worthless vaccine", not wanting to make a return to the new, woke military. With ongoing wars, the threats of war, isolated events, breaking  out all over, it is a scary and uncertain time. The U.S.A. has been weakened, in more ways than one!! No doubt our enemies know this too.
This current Gov, (swampier than ever before) did this!
I agree, "discharge" them, American voters!
