I hope to encourage any Trump voters to share their stories and perspectives. This is an opportunity to express why you believe you are not “garbage,” as the President has claimed, and to highlight the unique qualities that make you special. I also invite you to share why you support Trump.

Let’s make this thread a platform for you to share your thoughts, experiences, and the qualities that define you. Whether you’re a devoted parent, a hardworking professional, or someone with a strong commitment to your community, your voice matters. So, please join in and let us celebrate the qualities that make us proud supporters of Trump!

In a recent statement, President Biden referred to some of his opponents as “garbage.” I am here to assert that I am not a piece of garbage, nor are the millions of hardworking, dedicated Americans who strive to make a positive impact in our communities and our families. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, I embody the values of love, support, and resilience. My roles are not merely titles; they reflect my commitment to nurturing and uplifting those around me.

I hold a master’s degree in the science of nursing and psychology from the University of Michigan, a testament to my dedication to education and personal growth. I have spent years honing my skills to care for others, whether in healthcare or as a trusted friend. My journey has taken me across the globe, allowing me to experience diverse cultures and perspectives, which has enriched my understanding of humanity and faith.

As a Christian, I believe in the inherent worth of every individual. It is disheartening to see a leader dismiss the value of citizens with such disdain. I know my worth, and I refuse to allow anyone, even the President, to dehumanize me or my fellow Americans. We are not defined by political rhetoric; we are defined by our actions, compassion, and integrity. I stand proud of who I am, and I will continue to advocate for respect and dignity for all.

    Please share...

Hi Shar, beautifully expressed.  We need more "beauty", and less ugliness in this world.
As you may recall, I was reluctant to Trump initially. I felt as if his celebrity status gave him an advantage over the other 18 (or whatever it was)
I wasn't sure if he was in it for the long haul!
It didn't take very long for me to see that he is so much more than a celebrity, he's a Patriot, a lover of America, and her goodness, and I believe, called for this!
He is the candidate who will secure this Nation and the only open floodgates will be those giving us access once more to our precious, natural resources, which will enable everyone to pay less for gas and oil and every other product, which has been blown sky high!
My children will be able to save for their future, rather than just get by. My grandchildren will be protected from woke indoctrination and will be able to thrive and just be kids!!

It's not the other candidate, not even a little bit!

Angie,   Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m pleased to see some thoughtful replies and wanted to create a space where we can share our views and engage in positive conversations, free from the usual vitriol found in many threads. I completely agree with everything you've shared!

It’s refreshing to see someone recognize Trump for more than just his celebrity status. His dedication to America and its values really stands out, and I believe he’s genuinely committed to securing our nation’s future. I trust him. I felt good during his last term, and I’m looking forward to feeling that way again.

It’s so important for our children and grandchildren to grow up free from indoctrination and to have opportunities to thrive. My husband and I achieved the American Dream through hard, rewarding work, and our children followed in our footsteps. I want the same for my grandchildren. Here’s to more beauty and less crazy---

"This is an opportunity to express why you believe you are not “garbage,” as the President has claimed, and to highlight the unique qualities that make you special. I also invite you to share why you support Trump."
Thank You, Sharlee. I appreciate this post.

I support Trump for the sake of a percolating economy and freedom within common sense boundaries. We cannot have a utopia based on pie-in-the-sky ideals which can never work. We need to focus and tend to our republic realistically. It is made up of fifty states and we need to respect each one's autonomy and self-governance. The president is to protect the states and attend to their peace and tranquility. Not provide avenues which only serve to dumb down, cater to weakness and take away incentive. Not to confiscate hard earned money for government programs and schemes which mostly only benefit the ones who have somehow managed to trick people into voting for them. Trump has come in honestly, fighting for the people so that they can live, thrive and survive in the best way possible: according to their own self-guided wills.

After all, one's own self-guided will gives joy. Nothing else.

For instance, the health care we pay for so dearly, gives very little back. The health care system merely serves as a broker for services which have become the worst possible. Health care is for the sake of the bottom line: keeping you healthy so you are not a burden to the system.

Do I feel loved and well-cared for by my current health care provider?
No. They are terrified I will become unhealthy and become a burden. Everything they do is to make sure I either die fast or don't get sick. Meanwhile, all their tests, which are done for the sake of prevention, are killing me.
    ~ well... ?
    what else?

PS When I broke my wrist, the surgeon I was sent to couldn't see me for a week. My hand was deformed, mangled and I was in tremendous pain after falling over a parking lot chain. Divine intervention, (a caring nurse on the phone,) provided me a trauma doctor who performed a reduction the next day ... which luckily was successful. My hand/wrist, however is mildly deformed today. If a surgeon had been able to see me right away, this deformity might have been prevented.

The fact is, I had asked for a surgeon saying, I will pay for it myself, but they said, "No, you are not allowed to pay for it yourself."

    Not allowed!!!!

It is a very sad day in America.  Politicians are resorting to elementary school tactics.  Where are the grown ups?   Where are the grown ups?

It’s truly a sad day in America when politicians seem to be resorting to tactics that resemble those of elementary school kids. Instead of engaging in meaningful dialogue and addressing the real issues that affect our communities, we see a lot of name-calling coming from figures like Kamala Harris. She shares nothing about the problems we face, let alone what she would do to fix them. Even today, she shifted from attacking Trump’s deportation policy to borrowing it, which just highlights her lack of original thought and commitment to addressing the issues head-on. We need leaders who can rise above this childish behavior and focus on solutions, not just rhetoric.

Right now, we have some leaders acting like children, sticking their tongues out in defense without a care for what could become of the country with such an individual who is simply not qualified to be president.

Trump, on the other hand, does talk to Americans and shares his vision, detailing how he plans to accomplish his goals. I have watched him closely, and I am comfortable in my view of him. His behavior is calm, and yes, his demeanor is upbeat. He seems genuinely excited about taking on the task of fixing what’s broken in our country. We should be looking for leaders who can help us solve problems rather than create more division. It’s disheartening to see our political landscape filled with immaturity, especially when so much is at stake. We should be looking to our leaders for wisdom and guidance, the ability to do the job. Not for more divisiveness and juvenile antics.

You can say this again and again and ...

Trump had a press conference from a garbage truck.  Can't say this man is not having some fun with all that he deals with daily.  What a great sense of humor.
