Because Glen Beck doesn't like him! Beck blasted Huckabee for supporting the FLOTUS' initiative on childhood obesity. I also supported Michelle's efforts.
A good reason to like Huckabee? Hmmm, he is Not here in Arkansas anymore! lol
Given the substantial amount of weight Huckabee has himself lost,it makes sense that he would support the childhood obesity campaign.
The sign of a GOOD politician is that s/he supports GOOD legislation -- even if it is presented by a member of the "opposition."
This is an interesting yardstick by which to measure candidates, however. Glenn Beck hates Obama. Does that mean we should like someone solely because Beck feels the opposite?
So what of Karl Rove v. Palin and v. Trump. Should we like SP and DP because Karl Rove does not?
Is the enemy of my enemy my friend (I never understood that one!)
I assumed Habee's first comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek. She has a lot more common sense than pretty much anyone else on HubPages, and I feel rather certain that that means she was not being literal about the reason for liking Huckabee!
Wow! You guys are making my head swell! My comment was tongue-in-cheek. I think you guys know how I feel about Beck - can't wait till he leaves TV. Huckabee seems calm and level-headed, and he's a likeable guy. I'm not sure what kind of POTUS he'd make - he's too socially conservative - but he does appear to be fair-minded.

It was a bad new/ good news scene for me yesterday. I find out the famous Obama girl didn't even bother to vote on Super Tuesday, but in finding this out I found a gem showing why we should get Hucklebee into the White House. You won't even remember Obama girl after Huckabee Girl.this link...

Having watched two of the GOP Presidential debates first hosted by Fox and then one hosted by CNN it sickens me the way they both decided to format the questions and answers. These are not debates as none of the time is spent on how the candidates will solve anything with any resolve instead...

Can anyone give me a good reason for the USA to have open borders?I've heard so many people cite pro and con reasons for a border wall, but most don't go into detail. I'd like to hear WHY America should keep our borders open or closed? It's not your political opinion I want to hear, but...

What would be a good reason to lie? What would be a bad reason to lie?

Is sparing one feelings a good reason to lie to someone or do you tell them the truth regardless?I believe this is a question we have all faced at some point time. It is most likely the most common kind of lie people tell (to spare one's feelings). And for many people this kind of lying is...
