We have seen time and time again that governments lie. Even so, I know many people who do not believe there could ever be a conspiracy. Why when we know someone lies, do people decide conspiracy could not be possible?
Do you believe in any "conspiracy theories"?
If so, which one(s) and why?
Not only do I believe in ALL of them... I believe that they are all tied together...
Centuries after they built the great pyramids, aliens returned to earth and decided to safeguard our endangered species through an ingenious plan of cross-breeding.
As a result, after a couple of drinks and some mood music, they succeeded in breeding Big Foot and the Lockness Monster, after having transported the two creatures to a small secluded bed and breakfast in Kenya. They named their offspring Barack.. which loosely translated means "Muslim one"
Sadly, after returning the two creatures to their natural habitats, their spaceship crashed in Roswell, New Mexico. Two of the aliens survived the crash. One went on to be the head of the teamsters union, and the other the king of rock and roll. Both are now living safely in Uranus
Never mix vodka with beer, Greek One, never-ever.
did you know fluoride is a form of government mind control?
Wrong. The fluoridation of water is one way of getting rid of poisonous industrial waste: from aluminium production, on the cheap. They can't dump it in the sea because it will kill the fish.
They are also spraying aluminum by-products from airplanes. Try googling 'chem trails'. You might be surprised - and alarmed - by what you learn.
not in my "anus" Greek!
Wait!!!!
I checked with a mirror! There's an antennae sticking out of my anus!!!!!
MAMMA !!!!!
Qwark
I don't think lying is the same as a conspiracy....
It's not. But the sheer number of lies suggests to me that it is possible that some of the conspiracy theories MAY be true. Such as the Roswell crash not being a weather balloon.
Conspiracy theories are usually for the feeble minded, and oddly usually followed by Republicans. Odd coincidence? Ummm....no, not really.
I would argue that anyone who can listen to - and believe - the likes of Glen Beck when he is slagging-off conspiracy theorists has to be feeble minded. If Glen Beck tells you something - believe the opposite.
Also - George Bush told you that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction - he lied. Wasn't that a conspiracy (he conspired with Tony Blair) to get the American public to OK going to war with Iraq?
The facts regarding the WoMD do appear to have been manipulated, and I believe the truth will eventually be revealed, though maybe not in our lifetimes. Sometimes I wonder whether these events are not so much conspiracies, as elaborate games played by the rich and powerful. Kind of like chess, but on a mind-boggling scale.
It 's not a game Amanda - thousands died as a result of the policies adopted.
I do know, exactly, why they lied to us about Saddam's WMD's. I'll be setting out my arguments shortly. Watch this space.
Looking forward to your post peterxdunn.
Please. History shows that liberals create more conspiracy theories than anyone. 911, JFK, well I give them that one, it is hard to believe Oswald acted alone,
Really? The birth certificate, Kenyan birth, secret Muslim, New World Order, Bilderberg's controlling the world, FEMA camps, the government is talking away our guns, health care will kill grandma, health care reform is socialized medicine, I can go on forever. Dude, Republicans' bread and butter is built on John Birch style conspiracies now days.
I have researched and believe in quite a few. Since conspiracy theories tend to contradict what anyone has been told and believed all their lives, they are not about to throw all that out the window, especially if their very identity is involved which it is for most.
Not so much conspiracy as wholesale manipulation on a global scale.
"Transparent" does not mean "honest." It is still necesary to look and understand.
To know who is running this planet, check out bis.org
Bow to your banker masters!
Would wholesale manipulation not be considered a conspiracy? As I understand it, a conspiracy is simply the act of a group or organization attempting to cover up the truth. Whatever that truth may be.
BIS isn't trying to cover up anything. Dig through their site and and find articles that explain that there are too many people alive right now, there aren't enough resources to support everyone comfortably, and the solution is to transfer wealth away from the masses as a mechanism for population control. And they achieve that by increasing the money supply (Private Debt) for the wealthy while decreasing the money supply (Gub'ment Debt) for the little guys. Real simple.
I shall dig. Thank you for the avenue.
I was thinking more of the multitudes of lies (including wholesale manipulation) going on in the United States that have been covered up for decades. If you just look at public records and old broadcasts you can see the discrepancies.
I agree. I have talked to highly intelligent people about some conspiracy theory evidence and had the only answer they could come up with be; "I can't believe that. If that we're true, we are in real trouble." Which is clearly not a "debunking."
There is a cabal that is trying and succeeding in controlling the entire globe through access to food, credit, and energy.
"Bank for International Settlements". Naw.
Controlled from the US.
Have you noticed that actually no one at school teaches us how to stay healthy and how to really make money?
Just a bunch a b*sh*t that has nothing to do with real life, prosperity, freedom of spirit and happiness. Here you are - conspiracy #1!
I have. Take a look at the FDA while you are on that thought process.
These Conspiracy things to me are like downtown Busses, there is one along every 10mins, and you can take your pick!
And yet, The USA is surviving, and the sun comes up tomarrow
getting quite tired of them in truth, and the more they come up it seems the stronger Obama gets, as people recognise them as folly.
We need truth and correct information, we do not have that.
They are like downtown buses.
I'm not sure what you mean by "and the more they come up it seems the stronger Obama gets, as people recognise them as folly." It has been my experience that people as a general rule discount anything that the mainstream media and government does not tell them. It has also been my experience that more and more people are no longer trusting those in power.
"You don't need conspiracies, all you need is a convergence of interests. The people who own this country went to the same schools, belong to the same clubs, socialise at the same parties...and they don't give a f#ck about you and me"George Carlin
I love George. Great humor about everything.
Funny, school did teach me how to be healthy and prosperous (biology, home ec, qualifications that got me a job). It can't teach all people all things they might need. But it does cover the basics.
No, they do not! I am not blind, I go to the store, I see what people are buying for their consumtion. Most of it really bad, for some is lethal, they are still buying it! They do not have a job but they buy cigarettes and have a car! Ten years ago(I do not know about now) you could finish public (that means free) school in Canada and do not know how to read and write. Sounds incredible but truth! We have rows of people sitting at doctors office and some of them with just a plain cold! Sitting for hours wasting their time and taxpayers money! Stupid, stupid, stupid! my qualifications got me chicken sh** in Canada. what else? May be I was born unlucky? I don't think so! I think I was extremely lucky so far will all my naivety and ignorance I got from MY education. And I had a good one.
Yes governments lie, that is the nature of them to be secretive. They have to be, because there would be great danger if a country's secrets were to fall into the wrong hands. However, conspiracy theories are mostly invented for people who enjoy a good mystery and get bored by the mundane.
"Yes governments lie, that is the nature of them to be secretive." The nature of them is to be secret when they are hijacked by
thieves and no longer serve the people.
Federal Conspiracy charges...conspiracies do exist. Our forefathers conspired to take the 13 colonies from England.

Who is to blame for conspiracy theories? The ones that reports or exposes them or the ones that conceals activities that get discovered then gets leaked to those that reports or exposes them?
