When JFK was shot, people from all over the nation wept over his passing. It was like their own family member had been killed. Have we had a president so liked and loved by all since him? Out of all the other presidents after JFK, who would you morn over? None perhaps? If not, isn't that a sure sign we are picking the wrong candidates? To answer my own question, I think I would have been pretty upset if Reagan had been shot and killed. Nobody else since him nor do I foresee anyone else especially from who I see running for next term now.
I seriously doubt I'll ever mourn a president's death. Nothing against them, I just don't feel any kind of emotional attachment to them.
