Campaign Theme Songs

   So, back in the 80s, Ronald Reagan used Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA as a sort of theme song for campaign events. (Much has already been said about the lyrics to that song and how it's probable that Reagan's campaign never really listened to more than the chorus, so I won't go into it here).
   
   Bill Clinton used the Fleetwood Mac song, "Don't Stop Thinkin' About Tomorrow."
   
   And now I hear that Ron Paul's supporters are using the Imperial March from the Empire Strikes Back as music for Paul's appearances.
   
   What would be your theme song if you ran for office?

      The theme song for my campaign would be Tom Petty's "I won't back down". The refrain of "there ain't no easy way out" is an idea that politicians need to be aware of.

      My theme song would be from Rocky, The Eye of The Tiger. Although I read on Drudge this morning the Gingrich used that and now he is being sued.

   Yeah and McCain tried to use the Tom Petty song "Won't Back Down" and Petty nixed that idea, too.
