I'm curious to what people are listening to at the moment. I'm addicted to Lady gaga - born his way and Enrique Iglesias - Tonight (not his style at all). I've been playing those on repeat
Lost Highway, Born to be my Baby, and Bad Medicine- all by Bon Jovi and they are all great!

I'm listening to this great song from RAINTIME. Beautiful mid-tempo power ballad. Might suit fans of lavishly-produced AOR music.

LOve her! Did you hear her cover version of Cheryl Coles song 'Promise This'? Soooo much better than Cheryls version.
Listening to it right now - she's so good, a REAL singer! (Think I'll give the Cheryl Cole version a miss for obvious reasons). I would have posted "Rumour Has It" if I'd found a quick link to the album version.... THAT song totally rocks too. Been immersed in "21" since I bought it last week.
I am really digging Imelda May ! This gal rocks !

Nice! thanks for posting the link. good stuff!
I never get tired of this one, the songwriter nailed the perfect love song. I'm sure some are tired of it, but I love everything about it, especially with headphones.

Jenny love hewitt has a song?!!! Weird...I have to check this out.
colder weather by the zack brown band, the video seemed to be art for the sake of art, but the song stands alone.
Born This Way is definitely growing on me. I just love her voice and energy.
Bon Jovi -- Always.
Metallica -- All Within My Hands.
Dan Fogelberg -- Believe In Me, A Love Like This, and As the Raven Flies.
Dan Seals -- One Friend.
P!nk -- F*** Perfect.
House of the Rising Sun has been stuck in my head for weeks.

Proper Education - Pink Floyed remix by Eric Prydz
Amazing if you want an old song made into a cool house remix while still having th qualities of the original.
This is a song from our local artists. Her name is Toni Gonzaga. She can act, sing, dance and do hosting very well. That is why she is tagged as the "Multi-media Star."

This song always makes me teary-eyed..I'm not yet married, I don't have a kid but I recommend that every parent should listen to this song of Billy Dean entitled "Let them be little.".

The Marseillaise. Did you know it was an instant hit in its day?
Nice post. I'm going through my seasonal Men at Work fix. Workout playlist has lots of old school AC/DC and Metallica. Staying in touch with current pop (Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga) having two small girls and a wife who lives Madonna and Prince.
I like that song a lot..
but this one is stuck in my head .. I love Just The Way You Are.. plus the video is awesome.

The club can't handle me right now. by Flo Rida... never heard of this band till I saw it on youtube. and was hooked on it since. I also love Black Eye Peas but was very disappointed in the half-time show of the Super-bowl...
I think cause they had to preform live and without the computer programs that helped her sing backing her up. And what was with the outfits, they were dressed like Justin Bieber in his commercial with OZZY. LOL Course Justin Looked much better in leather. (oops that didn't sound right.)
My husband and I about died when Slash popped up and she started singing. Jon says I bet Axel Rose is throwing a fit right now. She cannot sing!!!!! I missed my calling in life... The whole half time show was a bust. The only thing I loved was the Pug dog commercial. Going back to the Black Eyed Peas have you checked out all the bashing they are taking? Everyone just found out that Stacy cannot sing, yet she is worth millions...
My wife totally was like, turn that stuff off what kind of crap is that. LOL so we went and watched the puppy bowl on animal planet LOL. then went back and watched the rest of the game. Yeah its so sad, loads of singers out now that cant bloody carry a tune, are worth more then we could ever dream of making our entire life.
Loved the game, and the commercials were the best.. LOL
I think it is pitiful that we have another Milli Vanilli on the stage. I mean who knows maybe she snoozed her way to the bright lights. Or maybe she lived in an egg oops vessel for 72 hours before getting on stage..All I know is that there are so many other people out there with "real" talent.... OHHHH speaking of talent... These places like here pay cha ching for your works. I now belong to Triond and ReviewStreams. Triond is writing for $ however ReviewStreams pays you 60% for all the reviews you do or all the reviews you read. NOW THESE 2 ARE RIGHT UP YOUR ALLEY... Both pay big bucks for your work.. CHECK THEM OUT!!!! Academia Research. You fill out an application and take a test essay, you'll pass, e-how you have to submit a piece of your work.. Hello Jonathan and Sarah and go to Constant-Content.. Oh also try ReviewStreams you get paid to either read reviews or write reviews.... Let me know..
Hey etower036. I'm sorry but flo-rider sux. They did a remake of you "spin me round" and it just made me want to hurl. I love you spin me round, and they ruined it, by turning it into a lame rap song.
I remember when Marylin Manson was very popular, and one of the songs on his album was a remake of an old dance song too. When I point it out to the kiddies, they sure get their panties in a bunch.
I also heard that Miley Syrus is planning to do a remake of Poison's Every Rose Has It's Thorn. WTF!!! Hanna Montana singing Poison? Might as well kill her career now. That's like having Rosane Bar put out a vocal album of national athems. I see a mob forming.
"Lost for Words", or shall I say the whole of "The Division Bell" album by Pink Floyd. This is always my background music when I'm online.
I love so many bands I cannot name just one.... HMMM I am stumped so I lose.
I love Adele's song "rolling in the deep" .. Definitely should get it off iTunes!
This is another song from the movie "If Only". Again, this was sung by Jennifer Love Hewitt. Loveeee this...

"Which song are you loving at the moment?"
"A long, long time ago…"
I am in the mood to find and post the whole thing.
Here it is.
A long, long time ago...
I can still remember
How that music used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And, maybe, they’d be happy for a while.
But february made me shiver
With every paper I’d deliver.
Bad news on the doorstep;
I couldn’t take one more step.
I can’t remember if I cried
When I read about his widowed bride,
But something touched me deep inside
The day the music died.
So bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
And them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye
Singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die.
"this’ll be the day that I die."
Did you write the book of love,
And do you have faith in God above,
If the Bible tells you so?
Do you believe in rock ’n roll,
Can music save your mortal soul,
And can you teach me how to dance real slow?
Well, I know that you’re in love with him
`cause I saw you dancin’ in the gym.
You both kicked off your shoes.
Man, I dig those rhythm and blues.
I was a lonely teenage broncin’ buck
With a pink carnation and a pickup truck,
But I knew I was out of luck
The day the music died.
I started singin’,
"bye-bye, miss american pie."
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye
And singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die.
"this’ll be the day that I die."
Now for ten years we’ve been on our own
And moss grows fat on a rollin’ stone,
But that’s not how it used to be.
When the jester sang for the king and queen,
In a coat he borrowed from james dean
And a voice that came from you and me,
Oh, and while the king was looking down,
The jester stole his thorny crown.
The courtroom was adjourned;
No verdict was returned.
And while lennon read a book of marx,
The quartet practiced in the park,
And we sang dirges in the dark
The day the music died.
We were singing,
"bye-bye, miss american pie."
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye
And singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die.
"this’ll be the day that I die."
Helter skelter in a summer swelter.
The birds flew off with a fallout shelter,
Eight miles high and falling fast.
It landed foul on the grass.
The players tried for a forward pass,
With the jester on the sidelines in a cast.
Now the half-time air was sweet perfume
While the sergeants played a marching tune.
We all got up to dance,
Oh, but we never got the chance!
`cause the players tried to take the field;
The marching band refused to yield.
Do you recall what was revealed
The day the music died?
We started singing,
"bye-bye, miss american pie."
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye
And singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die.
"this’ll be the day that I die."
Oh, and there we were all in one place,
A generation lost in space
With no time left to start again.
So come on: jack be nimble, jack be quick!
Jack flash sat on a candlestick
Cause fire is the devil’s only friend.
Oh, and as I watched him on the stage
My hands were clenched in fists of rage.
No angel born in hell
Could break that satan’s spell.
And as the flames climbed high into the night
To light the sacrificial rite,
I saw satan laughing with delight
The day the music died
He was singing,
"bye-bye, miss american pie."
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye
And singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die.
"this’ll be the day that I die."
I met a girl who sang the blues
And I asked her for some happy news,
But she just smiled and turned away.
I went down to the sacred store
Where I’d heard the music years before,
But the man there said the music wouldn’t play.
And in the streets: the children screamed,
The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed.
But not a word was spoken;
The church bells all were broken.
And the three men I admire most:
The father, son, and the holy ghost,
They caught the last train for the coast
The day the music died.
And they were singing,
"bye-bye, miss american pie."
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
And them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye
Singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die.
"this’ll be the day that I die."
They were singing,
"bye-bye, miss american pie."
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye
Singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die."

After my most recent divorce, there is only one song that does it for me. It expresses exactly how wonderful and liberated I feel.
Jason Derulo's "Ridin' Solo"
Yeeeeeyeeeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
I'm feeling like a star, you can't stop my shine,
I'm loving cloud nine, my head's in the sky,
I'm solo, I'm riding solo,
I'm riding solo, I'm ridin solo, sooloooo.
Yeah, I'm feeling good tonight,
finally doing me and it feels so right,
Time to do the things I like,
going to the club everything's alright.
No one to answer to,
no one that's gonna argue,
And since I got the hold off me,
I'm living life now that I'm free
Now I'm feeling how I should,
never knew single could feel this good,
Stop playing miss understood,
back in the game, who knew I would,
I'm so sorry that it didn't work out
I'm moving on,
I'm so sorry but it's over now,
the pain is gone,
I'm putting on my shades
to cover up my eyes,
I'm jumpin' in my ride,
I'm heading out tonight,
I'm solo, I'm riding solo,
I'm riding solo, I'm riding solo, sooloooo.
I'm riding solo, sooloooo,
I'm riding solo, sooloooo

I just wanna f*****G Dance. If you go to my profile, look for my youtube link. The video is in my favorites. It's a hot song, and a very cool video.
There are also a couple Motley Crue videos, and a very nice video of three men singing their own version of Abba's SOS. The video of the Abba song is called Nekkid in the men's room with Charlie brown.
Adding the links is too time consuming.
Anything by Collective Soul...love, love, love them!
