I know my friend like him. Some of them are of same race but many also hate him. I think he has done many good things in America specifically health care.

I have come to think that Obama is the president of the century.

Well, he can talk and chew gum at the same time for a start.  He definatley has a similar air of arrogance about him, but he doesn't swagger and sneer the way Bush did.  And of course Obama hasn't started any new wars yet for his perosnal gain.

Bush Jr. was a better president. Less government spending, better economy, more jobs created, less people on welfare, etc. Plus he liked the constitution, unlike Obama.

Bush Jr? LOL Approval rating of 27, got us involved in a useless and costly 10 year war, failure during Katrina. At the helm when the recession hit, appointed unqualified "Good Christians" to post head a number of departments, passed the Patriot Act which in cases infringed on peoples rights, etc.

Ok, Obama renewed the patriot act, and signed into law the NDAA which allows the government to hold indefinitely US citizens, his failure during the giant oil plume that screwed up the ocean and killed innumerable amounts of sea life.
He appoints a truckload of idiots like communist Van Jones, David Axelrod, Tim Geigner, and Eric Holder. He sat through the good christian rants of Jeremy Right every Sunday over the last twenty years without ever finding any of the hate filled crap that he spews out on a daily basis odious or repugnant.
He canceled oil pipelines to further his green jobs agenda. Failed cash for clunkers program, highest gas prices ever, bottomed out the housing market, responded to the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl at Fukushima power plant in Japan by advocating nuclear power and tripling taxpayer funds for loans on nuclear power plants in America.
The most Americans on welfare ever, highest government spending ever, biggest national debt ever, the Solyndra scandal, etc...

Life sucks under this one because your country was sold by the Bush tag team and you are basking in the aftermath.  I have no idea if Obama is any good, and nor will anyone else unless he is able to rid your government of the toxic politics you have right now where your 'opposition' would rather see the country broke than 'their' man fail again.  You are on the edge of the precipice I think.

Based on the US progress from a position of financial strength, some kind of hope for all the US people - to the deeply indebted shell of a country it once was with its few super rich and a corresponding but huge poor base.  From the progress toward racial equality to your current politicians stirring racial hatred without condemnation.   From a god-fearing country to a looney bin full of religious simpletons.

            Did I miss anything ?

It is only necessary to stand outside and look in. I remember the respect that the US enjoyed before you shot JFK and the winners took power.  I remember the fight for respect for your black people and watching as you shot King, and the black underclass you then created from the mess.  And lately, a sleazy president who was run out of office, then the lying manipulations of your Bush family both in buying the presidency for the dimwit and then the lying that made yhour arms barons (and your Bush family) trillions of tax payers dollars.

First off I didn't shoot Kennedy or King I was only a kid that admired the courage of both. They were both men of conviction who would never spew unsubstantiated hatred. So all you can really say is that you base your opinions on Gibberrish and nonsense without the benefit of research. That's not much of foundation for the hate you have built up inside you. It also tends to show a low self esteem that needs to try to change facts to try and bring oneself out of the quagmire. I wish you a happier life than you seem to have right now.

It is normal for poorly educated people to retaliate with hate words and pathetic attempts at personal attacks  - hey I am only criticing what is clearly apparent to everybody - except you maybe big_smile    That might be due to your rapidly collapsing education system that is currently at third world levels.  I guess I could do a bit of missionary work and come over and try to teach you guys a bit of stuff, and you don't need to accept any deviant religous views with your lessons either, oh yes, I won't bring any guns and missiles with me either, ok ?

You will always notice that if you are a Conservative you are supposed to have done all sorts of work and research before you say anything...anything at all. It does not matter if the evidence you see with your eyes makes it a matter of common sense.
This is one of their favorite tactics. Now when you look somewhere like MSNBC or such where they are using all manner of hate speech you will never see one look at the other and say where are your facts.
No, that's just an attempt to shut you and me up.

Tut, tut. That's a bit of an overstatement.

The U.S. still accounts for a quarter of the world's gross domestic product, a proportion that has held steady for more than 40 years. Our military budget is greater than all of our rivals combined...American "declinism" is as old as America itself: in 1788, Patrick Henry was ruing the Republic's fall from the days of 'when the American spirit was in its youth."

From Jonathan Freedland's review of new books "Strategic Vision" by Zbigniew Brzezinski and "The World America Made," by Robert Kagan in today's "The NYT Book Review."

      the stimulus
      the deficit
      oil
      mortgages
      U.S. history
      clean energy
      blaming Bush
      the Tom Hanks video
      the auto bailout

So you're still bemoaning the possibility that a woman won't be legally allowed to kill an unborn child.  Wow.

You should actually look up the Roe v. Wade controversy and trial.  The woman in question had the child and later became an outspoken advocate for LIFE.   The whole trial etc. was a farce pushed by liberal activists.  Ms. "Roe" was used as a scapegoat.  There was no sympathy for her plight, no feeling for her dilemma, nor for her unborn child.  No one was trying to help her come to terms with any personal dilemma she might've faced.  She was simply used.  Don't you get it?

Well said, lovemychris, why don't the religious nuts adopt some homeless kids rather than having five to ten of their own? Here are some hard line opinions from blue collar America, Brenda.
Those who fight abortion are ignoring the 3rd world influx that pops out puppies like a mill and expects hard working Americans to flip the bill! You like paying for Paco's ten kids? Go ahead but not me. If it wasn't for abortions the population problem would have already tipped the scales and we would all be speaking spanish. To hell with that nonsense! Viva la Abortions! Viva!

Eh...the illegal immigration problem and overpopulation doesn't have anything to do with the moral issue of abortion.
I've heard others around here talk about how abortion is okay because it stops overpopulation.   I find that a horrid excuse.

The problem you've illustrated is caused by allowing people from other Nations to come to America and try to remake it and its official language into a better version of their Nation instead of them assimilating into American society.  We need to close our borders and take care of our own people first and foremost, I agree.  But it isn't right to say that abortion is a way to keep America's sovreignty.
