   Forgiving is for you.  Not for the person who had harmed you in anyway.  Holding that grudge only give them more power over your life.
   
   I forgive for my health.  LOL.  It is as simple as that.

   It depends on who hurt me.  I usually don't hold grudges until a person has done the same thing to me more than once (more than three times usually).  Less important people generally just get cut off.  With people close to me, I forgive but tend to remember the offense (as to avoid getting hurt again); I wouldn't call it holding a grudge.  It also depends on what the offense is.  The really painful things are never forgotten.  I always forgive because of my faith.  I do have one person at work that I still need to totally forgive....  I know I haven't totally forgiven her because I can't stand to be in her presence.

   I do not like to hold grudges against people because it makes a pit in your stomach. Forgiving people releases tension that you build up in your body.

   Forgiving is not something that happens immediately it takes time. To forgive is to accept what happened, it's a lot harder to forget it thought.
   
   When you manage to forgive it gives you a sense of freedom and you will be able to except that sometimes people aren't always good.

   Forgiveness is one of the hardest tasks for the human heart, especially if the suffering has been caused by someone who was our extreme confidence.
   But I am optimistic that with all the rancor is the time, because there is time for everything under heaven.

   i don't worry if it is easy to forgive because if the offense is serious i never forgive. forgiveness is foolish in my eyes and to me all it does is make the offender feel like they can continue to do as they please without any problems.

   I think it would depend on what was done to me.  For the most part if someone is genuinely repentant, then I can easily forgive--but I learn from it and don't forget.

   Depends who it is and what they've done.
   Oddly I find it harder to forgive those closest to me... maybe becuz of the emotional attachment and because its always a shock when loved ones hurt you.
   However, Im getting better at forgiving.... my health comes first!!

    I can't forget anything easily. I tend to hold grudges most of the time. But when time passes, it will just blow out............

    It depends who is the person and what has been done to me.
    Normally I don't hold grudges and even if in some occasions I do,  I tend to forget the whole thing later.  I  believe in forgiveness. If the person is truly apologetic it makes it easier for me to forgive.

    Forgiveness is a gift to ourselves. Why stew on something and let it eat away at you when the other person has no idea...and has gone on with their life.
